What a total letdown! I have a internship in Orlando from August-December and I was really hoping to see new shows. I saw Phantom in 2011. And I don't feel like driving an hour to see Cinderella in Tampa

For what it's worth, the current Phantom tour is the new staging and orchestrations, which I'm sure you didn't see in 2011.
^^Yeah, I'm trying to see it, but Idk if I can afford it since I'll live on with so little money
God, we got such a ****ty season. Wow.
Is it just me or do pretty much ALL of the seasons just suck this year?
Shea's theatre in Buffalo is announcing their season tonight! I know a lot of you love that theatre and are from the area or go to school there, so just wanted to let everyone know! It should be online in about an hour.
Buffalo's season is pretty nice, I must say.

Chicago-Feb. 17-22, 2015

Speak for yourself I'm glad to live in LA. We have the best season ever, here at the Pantages. There's not one show I don't want to see. Plus three shows from the Ahmanson.
I am definitely underwhelmed by their season. Chicago? Phantom? M$Q? Mamma Mia? Yawn.
Yes but they're also getting three new shows, plus the new staging of a Broadway classic and a massive hit tour. Mamma Mia is certainly the weakest in there I think...but almost every season has a weak link.
I'm from Syracuse, so I'm more likely to subscribe/go to the seasons in Rochester or Syracuse but I really love the Shea's theater. It's so beautiful and I enjoy being in Rochester. I missed Cinderella on Broadway (and honestly with all the things I want to see, it isn't high on my list, so I will probably end up missing it for good) but depending on casting and where else it plays around here, I may go see it. Same for Kinky Boots.
As for Rochester, their announcement is coming next week and I'm pretty positive they will have Pippin. Their poster announcing their announcement is circus themed and at the top says "we have magic to do!"
Well, it's the NEW Phantom tour, for whatever that's worth to you. Which could be nothing. :)
Yeah like Baltimore is like:
Once-Great choice, but I'm missing it. Luckily, it's coming back next year
I Love Lucy-WHY? There could be Cinderella or Kinky Boots in that slot, but we have a random show?
Newsies-Seen it, would have missed it anyway
Annie-If it's not the revival, no thank you
Chicago-Hmmm...maybe
Wicked-Seen it, and it was just here O_o
Dirty Dancing-Is every major 80s movie (YES, AND DISNEY MOVIES) a musical now?
Pippin-The ONLY good one. I'm looking forward to seeing it!
Here's hoping 2015-2016 is significantly better

Pretty disappointing season for Boston, as far as quantity goes. Only six shows being offered (four in the subscription):
Lion King, Sept. 9 - Oct. 12. Season extra.
Mamma Mia, Oct. 28 - Nov.2. Season extra.
Motown, Jan. 27 - Feb. 15, 2015.
Dirty Dancing, Apr. 28 - May 10, 2015.
Newsies, June 23 - July 5, 2015.
Kinky Boots, Aug. 11 - 23, 2015.
I'm a little disappointed we didn't get Pippin and that they couldn't get anything else other than Mamma Mia again but other than that no complaints from me!
Very bummed about the Boston season. I was really hoping for Pippin and Matilda. It seems like Mamma Mia! and Dirty Dancing are here every other year.

Cleveland just announced its season:
Motown October 3-19 2014
Newsies November 4-16 2014
White Christmas 2-14 2014
Pippin February 3-15 2015
Dirty Dancing March 3-22 2015
Kinky Boots April 7-19 2015
Cinderella July 21-Aug 2 2015
Cleveland also announced they have 29,000+ Broadway Series subscribers - the most in the country (so about 11 performances worth of seats, out of the average 16 performances in the normal two week stand, are pre-sold before any seats are sold to the general public...)
I'd also expect to see announcements soon about a 3-4 week summer Phantom run - and the return of Book of Mormon... And perhaps a non-subscription Annie.

Eye, do you expect phantom and book to return or is that true?

I fully expect the new Phantom tour to hit CLE - as it'a already scheduled for secondary tour cities and would seem a big, standalone draw. Right now, however, Summer 2014 and 2015 are already booked with cities - one isn't CLE. That's surprising. CLE's PlayhouseSquare usually books a big Summer show - usually 3-4 weeks - sometimes two of them (last year Lion King and Book of Mormon..) and there's nothing announced for this Summer.. and next Summer just two weeks of Cinderella... Phantom tour currently has gaps the first half of December 2014 and March 2015 and almost all of January 2015 (when no other show would be playing in CLE).
Book of Mormon has already been announced in Denver for the 3rd time - 2015 - so a second stop in CLE is expected. Currently the tour has some open/unannounced weeks in late June/early July 2014 - and also around Xmas 2014/January 2015. The Summer 2014 timing would seem short - as not yet announced - but will sell quickly. I wouldn't be surprised to see it one of those time periods as non-subscription show.
I agree that a Book of Mormon return engagement is possible and would sell very well. Another possibility (may be a bit of a long shot) is Wicked coming back in Summer of 2015. It was just here in December but sold like CRAZY and lottery was also way more crowded than usual. At the last lotto, a Playhouse Square rep said "No worries. We WILL be getting it back soon". Right now the First National of Wicked is open after Feb. 2015.

Does anyone have any idea when the National Theater will announce its season? All that's know is that NEWSIES is coming (Source: The Newsies website)
Better yet: Is there a way to see the touring schedule for CINDERELLA?
Wait is the 1NT of WICKED really closing?
