Shows that I know are on the theatre owners' lists (but who knows how far up or down they are on those lists....) are "Forum...", "Tuck Everlasting", "Diner" (possibly after they make some revisions from their out-of-town tryout), "Can Can", "Top Hat", "Let's Get the Band Back Together", "Amazing Grace" (although after "Allegiance" announcing they are going to broadway next season they may wait. Both shows although different time periods, both are about a struggling race in a historic time period) "The Color Purple", "Titanic", "Nerds", "Ever After" (depending on how the Paper Mil run goes)....

Has the creative team even expressed in taking Brooklynite to Broadway?
i wonder what happened with From Here to Eternity
It flopped in the U.K.
I think I read they were going to try and tour it in America but Broadway plans were scrapped.
RW....I cannot imagine in any world that Brooklynite would ever be considered for bway.

My biggest question is what is happening with the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas revival? They've had a playbill ad and have been saying their coming, but no announcement of anything yet
What's going on with American Psycho? Is that rumored for Broadway this season?
I went to that screening of From Here to Eternity. Oof! That was painful. When the two of us left at intermission, the cinema audience was reduced by half. I found almost every element of it to be dull or ridiculous. The first act finale (More Than America) was a bizarre mess culminating in final tableau that caused an eruption of involuntary giggles in me. There was no way I could sit through the rest.

I only asked that question because pintobean put that show in his list and I was questioning it.
Of course Michael Riedel famously predicted that Bullets Over Broadway was gonna be the show to beat...

Someone involved with the off broadway production has told fans that it will transfer next season.
You mean Hamilton transferring to London?

I love how in his article, Reidel cites reasons that Waitress is weak, and yet claims it may topple Hamilton?
It's going to have to take something incredible to topple Hamilton.
Also, I think another show to keep an eye on in the coming months and for next season is Dear Evan Hansen, which I hear is really special.
And American Psycho. I hear those shows are really incredible. Then of course we have Allegiance, Waitress, School of Rock, On Your Feet, Amazing Grace, and more to come which all seem really great!

At this point, I don't have a ton of faith in Allegiance or Amazing Grace, but that could be just me.

Pinto I think playbill-love was answering RW3s question
oh about Brooklynite. I don't see that coming to Broadway.
Apparently audiences went crazy for Amazing Grace in Chicago so i am sooo excited for it!! And the clips of Allegiance look beautiful, and the score sounds beautiful!! I can't wait!!

I love Amazing Grace in Chicago and planning a trip to NYC in Sept to see it. Just in case it doesn't make it to 2016. But I wish the best for this show that it will prove its detractors wrong. It is beautiful, I didn't find it religious or preachy despite the title.
I am also excited for Allegiance being a huge fan of Lea Salonga and George Takei! And I love the mini cast album
Also Hamilton I already have tix for Jan 2016.
Then On your feet, Waitress, School of Rock, Ever After and any show Andy Karl will be in...
Looks like there are many shows that I will be interested in for the upcoming season!

I saw Amazing Grace when it was in Chicago, it was amazing!
I thought Freaky Friday was still in the development stages, and nowwhere near the broadway stage yet.
I guess First Wives Club is not comiing to Broadway, I saw it, and believe me it was not worth seeing it was pretty bad.

Is Ever After coming? I haven't exactly heard raves for it except for some of the score.
