I assume nobody knows if the Canadian Open ran over on CBS to make the main Tonys start late.

Same. And her dress was exquisite.
If there's one thing I can count on, it's Celia Keenan-Bolger making me cry with a speech.

This should have been OH MARY’s. Voters chose quantity over quality.

Harvey's speech was beautiful too. Ugh, sobbing.

While this award should never be presented in the “pre-show”, I’m so so so happy for them!!

Dorian's costumes are gorgeous and beautifully interconnected to the show and set design.

Pretty sh*tty to not do both book AND score on CBS. Last year, at least score was televised. Ugh. Why?

Act 1 ended five minutes early. A reminder that you can only stream the Tonys live on Paramount+ if you have the Showtime tier.

Crazy that they put Book, Choreography, Orchestrations, and Score ALL in the pre-show along with all of the design awards. That leaves only 14 awards to present in 3 hours. Given that there are 23 awards presented on the Oscars live telecast, it's crazy to me that they couldn't either put more awards on the main telecast or invite more shows to perform (I'm looking at you Boop!). And yes, the Oscars doesn't have AS many performances, but they still have the five Best Songs perform. I feel like there has to be a way.

It’s ridiculous that they’re considered “minor” awards. But more than anything, I wish Celia and Harvey’s speeches could have been in primetime. As many people as possible need to hear them.

She's bringing lots of presents.

Is this song original or an homage to something? At first I thought it sounded familiar and was a takeoff of something...but now it's just boring so I'm thinking it's original.

Homage to everyone's favorite Christmas show Rockettes?
I hope that’s also her Dracula costume. That would be fierce.
