Posted: 8/2/06 at 10:27pmColm was the only actor I ever saw performing Valjean, however, his singing was also one of the main reasons I made sure to see the OBC back in the 80s.

Posted: 8/3/06 at 12:54amOooohhh, Kaga Takeshi is amazing on the Red Cast recording! Oh, and about 24653 in Japanese production, they changed it simply because saying 24601 sounded a bit awkward when they sang it so changed it.

ok, you guys--the caps joke has been made like 5 times now.
I've only seen Randal Keith--but his "Bring Him Home" gave me goosebumps. His voice was possibly the most amazing voice I've ever heard. No exaggeration.

Hanna - I DID see Fred Inkley and, I could not say he was a favorite.
My all-time favorite is J. MARK MCVEY. Man, does he have an extraordinary voice!
