They sound wonderful!

Sounds great! I'm not sure why Kathy Fitzgerald sounds dead in her line readings, though.
Wow, these sound great. Much better than the old clips. I think Kathy sounds hysterical.
It sounds great. Janney actually sounds wonderful...I was worried how her vocal performance would translate on the disc.
And no Best Musical nom? SUCKS!
They were ROBBED of their nomination!
I love Megan Hilty and I love that the clips are long. 9 to 5 deserved a Best Musical nomination.
Wow! They are charging $25 for the pre-order. Thats pretty steep...and it's not listed on Amazon currently....
I'm so impressed with Janney. She does a beautiful vibrato at the end of "One of the Boys".
I can't wait for this recording! It sounds so fantastic!!
Allison Janney sounds fantastic! And Get Out and Stay Out...

Ugh "Get Out and Stay Out" sounds incredible. I can't wait for this cd.
This does sound wonderful! It's a real shame that they were not nominated. It's just as much a robbery as Cheyenne Jackson not being nominated last year for "Xanadu". The Tony nomination(s) committee should be put out to pasture... and this recording (and show) is proof of that.
I was pretty much dragged to this show.
And I kinda wanna go see it again haha.

I hope that all the negativity surrounding this show from the Tonys, critics, etc doesn't discourage Dolly from writing another show...for her first stab at musical theatre, I found this score to be especially strong. Here's hoping we'll get another show from her again soon!
Dolly definitely wants to do another show.
Hopefully the next one won't whore the name out of her.

I'm super excited for this to be released! Mostly for Kudisch's songs.
The score sounds fantastic! I assume Dolly's Tony nomination (which she seemed genuinely ecstatic about) will motivate her to write another show.
"I Just Might", "Shine Like the Sun", "Change It" and "Get Out and Stay Out" all have transferred quite well.
And I agree, Janney had a very nice vibrato on that last note of "One of the Boys"
And can Stephanie J. Block please just find a show that the critics like her in? Please?
Dolly should write her next show under a different name and open it Off-Broadway...
I think I've said this before but on an episode of "Biography" detailing her life she mentioned working on a musical about her life. So that's out there somewhere I would imagine.
This isn't listed on iTunes yet either.
Well it was recorded on Dolly's record label, maybe she is keeping pre-orders only to the official website?
Also, one of Dolly's gifts is that she writes ALOT of songs. She is not a composer who broods and takes years to churn something out. As with 9 to 5 in the early stages, if someone didn't like a song, she'd show up the next day with a new one. She is a determined and passionate composer who is always writing.
I can't wait to hear Dolly's ballad about the pretty town whore!
And isn't $25 pretty comparable to what they charge at the theatres?
9 TO 5 was wrongly ripped apart by the critics. And deserved a nomination for Best Musical over SHREK and ROCK OF AGES.
The only thing I don't really love is Janney's "I'll take this job and love it..." section. Why does she sound so meek?! So NOT Violet!
