I understand if the actors don't want to sign or whatever but you really should be respectful to the fans as they are who make you. Most actors are great at stage doors though, so one no so great one out of like 30 is OK I guess. Happy you met Peter!
Hey bfreak, I posted on the Jake Gyllenhaal page recently. I'm curious to see if he's been signing non show stuff since I already have him on Constellations.
I agree that stopping to sign for your fans is a nice gesture, but there are many possible reasons why someone might not want to. One of which might be that the sidewalk outside SCS is dimly lit, with no security, and the show lets out somewhat late at night. She might not feel safe stopping to sign.
"The rumors ended up being quite true about Taylor. It was noted by several people that she has sometimes skipped out on the signings. I even heard one fan say that she had now missed Taylor twice. Clearly she was not interested tonight. Peter is the man though."
I gotta say, when I went, I had the opposite experience. Schilling stopped and tools pictures/talked with/signed for whoever wanted, and Dinklage ran away. Even saw a fan go up to him to ask for a picture and he just kept walking. They're just people! I guess it depends on what they have going on the day you catch them.
I had a similar experience. After waiting for an hour, Taylor came out and only a couple of fans were waiting. I asked her for an autograph and she said "sorry, you're too fat for my liking." She then pushed me to the ground, told me that my family and I would be cursed for the rest of eternity, and then spit on my naked, quivering body. Before running to her car, she said "you'll die soon enough, fatty" and then flew away on her broomstick rather than getting into her car. While I am huge fan of her work, I was a bit disappointed with my experience. Oh well. Sometimes celebrities just aren't in the mood.

JBroadway - in this particular situation, she had security with her, the show was at 3pm and we were waiting until a little after 6pm. still a little sunlight out there... but anyway...yes, there are many possible reasons why people don't sign. i don't blame her or hold it against her, it just sucks that we waited an hour in the freezing cold for her for nothing. :)
