A three show day? — Page 2

I am waiting to see my third show today. Saw The Oursiders at 2:00. Rushed to the Lyceum for the 5:00pm matinee of Oh! Mary! Now waiting to see The Notebook (I had Spring tickets and missed it, so I figured that I already paid for the performance, so why not.

Only downside: two Sabrette hot dogs for dinner. Naturally, I was starving.
I am expecting this to be a good combo: serious musical, silly short comedy, and a soap. Will see.

Yup, pretty hardcore but when you're in from outta town you wanna squeeze in as much as possible. Have done many... a 4-show day once incl. an 11pm 54 Below show at the end! (miss their late, late shows!)

Doing a couple of 3-show days next weekend. Sat: Stereophonic, Big Gay Jamboree, Sunset Blvd. Sun: Maybe Happy Ending, Oh Mary (2nd time), Teeth.

Jazz clubs like the Birdland & Blue Note still have 10:30pm shows. Bonus they serve food. I have a good memory from my fall 2014 trip seeing Idina Menzel in If/Then & afterwards Chita Rivera did a late show at Birdland which I watched while downing a rack of BBQ ribs.

If you want an early start on a 4 show day starting in November there are some 11am Rockettes showings, or 11am Saturday Big Apple Circus performances.

You could do a 5 show day with those.
