"Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and "Hip to Be Square" were both in the London production. "Not a Common Man" is not cut. It's listed in the playbill.
Thanks for clarifying. Shows how well I can read while multitasking, haha.

Damn. I really enjoyed Oh Sri Lanka. One of my favorites (next to the Finale). I'm very glad they recorded the London Cast now, seeing as we have a good recording of that song out there.
Im really excited to see this. And it looks as though its selling pretty well on Broadway.com so I hope it last at least until the summer when I'll be able to see it
Excited to hear what people think of the show, it for sure will split people. After Eight will hate it
Intermission. I LOVE it. The whole team and cast are KILLING it.
Ben Walker could walk away with best actor if Lin and Leslie split votes.
I cannot get over how faithful they're being to the book and it's blowing my mind.
How are the side mezz seats at the Schoenfeld?

I'm so glad that you are enjoying it! I hope you enjoy Act 2!

Just let out. Loved it. Fantastic companion piece to Hamilton this season. Two very different versions of America and the American Dream.
will write more tomorrow but I thought this was just wonderful all around. By opening it will be something very special.

Great thinking of using my last slot for this
It was completely sold out!! I'm so glad. I hope this is the response post-previews. I'm such a fan of this score.
Two questions:
- Is the stage high for this production?
- What is the front row of the orchestra section?

Stage is not high. Not very gory at all. Still very scary at parts and very sexual. I did wish there was more blood and I have a feeling more blood will be added in previews.
I was moved to the front row after a phone call yesterday letting me know my seats were partial view and they were great seats. Stage was not high at all. Just be careful where you put your stuff, a lady for a bunch of red velvet cake swept onto/into her purse because it was resting against the stage (they sweep the cake off the stage at one point). Show was not bloody at all and I wish there was more gore, to be honest.
^ Good to know! Any idea what letter front row is? Tickets via Telecharge, it seems, is selling insanely well, and I can't tell which is which -- even into the fall.

any other thoughts from people who attended first preview? Whizzer are you out there?
I won't be seeing the show until Monday. I was ready to buy my first preview ticket when they announced those $19.89 preview tickets for select performances. As much as I wanted to be at the first preview I couldn't justify not waiting a few days and paying twenty bucks!

A few laughs were garnered mocking the vacuous and superficial milieu in question. Unfortunately, the show is as sterile and trite as the object if its mockery. It's slickly staged and well performed, but the book is leaden, and completely founders in the second act. The score is nondescript.
Benjamin Walker is convincing, and Helene Yorke is quite good. Jennifer Damiano is saddled with a drab role (much as in Spider-man). Alice Ripley's talents are sorely underused here.
An arch song relating food to fashion designers raises a few eyebrows. One lyric attempted to rhyme creme de menthe, here pronounced "menta," with Oscar de la Renta. Ouch.

Where did you hear about $20 seats? I'm new to the boards and people are always telling me about deals I never see lol
Several weeks ago they announced that they would be selling $19.89 tickets for six preview performances. They would be sold on a Saturday from 10am-noon at the box office.
I was disappointed that the first preview wasn't included, but you can't turn down a deal like that.
