Is Aaron Tveit appearing in Next To Normal? He was out last night, and I was wondering if he will be in the show much longer. Does anyone know what days he will be in it with the regular cast?
1. yes he's still in the show 2. he's been out off and on to film Gossip Girl 3. His contract is up late Feb/Early March....haven't heard a specific date.

There was an article on Broadway.com that did say that even though Aaron is filming for Gossip Girl that he was still going to be in the show. So I don't know. The article gave off the impression that because Gossip Girl shoots in NYC that it wasn't going to get in the way of Aaron doing Next To Normal.

Broadway Understudies had him listed out on Tues and Thurs this week, I believe.

Ah, ok. I didn't know if the point of the Broadway.com article was to tell us that he is going to be in Gossip Girl or that despite the fact that he is filming for Gossip Girl again he is still not going to take any time off from Next To Normal while filming.

I heard he has missed a few performances for Gossip Girl filming, but not too many. I have also heard that the show doesn't film on Sundays, so that would probably your best bet to see him.
It's been said that he'll be in N2N as much as he can around his GG schedule. So if you realllly want to see him, i'd try a weekend show as they don't shoot then. I wouldn't think he'd have too much filming left to do, but it seems they left it open as to exactly how much he'll be in it so who knows :) The show's falling in ratings, hopefully he can boost it up a bit. It'd be a shame if it got cancelled since so many Bway actors have been on the show.
I'm not sure when he's back in N2N but Aaron stood next to me on the subway today. I won't say where he got on or where he got off, but I am excited to know we live at the same subway station!
Stee, that's so cool! :) and what's cooler is that you didn't fangirl and spread where he lives, I know many people would be ignorant enough to do that without a thought for the actor.
As for how long Aaron will be filming, Entertainment Weekly said that he will be in at least 6 episodes.
General rule for tv filming is 1 episode = 8 days of filming. Updated On: 10/7/09 at 11:41 PM
Glad you didn't spread it - everyone deserves some privacy! Plus you never know why someone is in a certain location anyways.
Gossip girl is a bit weird in that even w/their episodes they don't seem to show each storyline for a long time. So I would wonder if Aaron would really miss 8 days per episode. But I wouldn't buy tickets to N2N solely to see him due to the schedule :)
Lol yeah, I don't actually think any one person could save a tv show, though I wish they could! And, while some would argue, I don't think Tveit has a huge fanbase outside of Bway.
I would hate to see the show cancelled though since it does give Bway actors a chance to act on tv and still do their show.
