Thinking about the Boy from Oz, what real people would make a good musical?
I was thinking Lady Jane - the Nine Day Queen
I dont think that the movie in the 80's was factual, but I think it could translate well.
Any thought?

I gave my life story to LaChiusa.
He'll have a musical based on my life out and produced by next week.
Should be brilliant.
Look for it, it's called, "Who's Afraid of Ethel Merman",

"Julie Andrews or Oprah."
I read that as Julie Andews AS Oprah and died a little inside.
Marquise, all of your suggestions have already been done. Unless, of course, you were being sarcastic. If that's the case then please disregard this post.
Believe it or not there already is a Princess Diana: The Musical. Not that it's very good. Actually it's wonderful if you love terribly lyrics that are so good they're bad.

Oprah?
She could produce, market and star in it herself.
I wouldn't go see it no matter what. I think we have enough Oprah in our lives. Now if it was about Orfeh, maybe I'd go to that.
