Insomniak, the 'I owe it all to you' line could be sarcasm, right?

Anyway, just returned from the gig, had a great time. Was very happy to see him doing a full set tonight. I love the acoustic sets too but I'm a bit of a rock chick at heart, so the full sets make me happy

I'm so used to listening to his voice on various 'recordings' that I sometimes forget to appreciate what a f***ing amazing voice Adam has. Let's just say, tonight he reminded me why I fell in love with his voice in the first place.

Looking forward to the gig on 27 November

It could be, but on his website it sounds like he isn't meaning it that way. I suppose it could be that all that he 'owes to us' is his therapy bills, but it wasn't my initial impression. Hm. I'm not sure.

It's good that you had fun. Do you know how the show on the 27th will be different?

I get the haunt part. he's probably referencing that girl that followed him home on the subway. and years ago there was this other girl that would hinge her life's decision on his email responses. I believe he referred to her as dillusional back then. he's just a regular guy with a kick ass set off pipes.

years ago in rent he used to play gigs with his band and there was this girl who would follow him all over and tell people she was so "tight" with him and blah blah blah. she really made an issue of the whole thing every time and it was strange. and then I remember seeing Aida years ago and Adam commenting that things were getting out of hand with the fans, something about a girl followed him home on the subway and it freaked him out. that would freak me out too.

Insomniak, I guess he doesn't have a lot to play with really. He's introducing Civilian and I believe he actually sang every single song from the album tonight. I doubt, he'll get rid off one of the songs for one from Model Prisoner instead. I also think 'Glory' will stay... but hey, what do I know? We'll know on 27 November I guess.

I wish he'd do I Don't Care Much, but Glory is "his" song... IDCM has no real significance. I just feel like if Glory becomes a "regular" it won't be so special - that would be sad.

Agreed. I love Civilian, would have LOVED to hear one of two songs from MP though. Would have loved to hear him sing the **** out of Ordinary Boy, for example.
