From the article on Playbill:
A full tour route and additional casting will be announced shortly.
Reading is a fabulous thing.

The statement released by the producers is quite eloquent.

This is so Tragic!!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

How many times have they come back to the show? Jeez.
Good for them. They get to tour the States for free, plus I'm sure are getting a very nice paycheck.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

How "shortly" do you think we'll know the casting and route?

"Adam and Anthony will be touring with RENT."
As Roger and Mark's dads, right? Because if they're playing Roger and Mark, god help us.

I don't think you get much time to actually enjoy the cities you are visiting while touring with a show.
Maybe we could pull a Doyle Sweeney and have the show set in a nursing home where Adam and Anthony reminisce about when they were 20 somethings?

They were still terrific in the roles last August, so here's to a great tour starring Mark and Roger, and my fingers are crossed that this tour will do what Les Mis did again and end in New York!!! Come on!!!!!!

Love it!
Roger will play the guitar, obviously, and I see Mark playing the French horn.

I'm just surprised they announced it before the show closed.
So, that was the Drowsy Chaperone. Oh, I love it so much. I know it's not a perfect show...but it does what a musical is supposed to do. It takes you to another world, and it gives you a little tune to carry with you in your head for when you're feeling blue. Ya know?

*Yawn*
I guess RENT didn't really launch everyone's career.

Well, yeah, it did. Did it do all the work for them since? No, but it certainly launched many cast members' careers.

It only launched them so they could keep on going back into the same show over and over, maybe the green woman will join as well, so she can sing the cow song again..

...And Jesse L Martin doesn't have a steady gig anymore. Bring him back too.
(actually, I would travel to see that...)

Call the understudy / I can't go on tonight / I'm drinking with my buddy / I'm getting good and tight / Before they raise the curtain I'll be higher than a kite / So call the understudy
I can't go on tonight

Yup, because they haven't done anything else with their lives in the past ten years. At all. Nope, nothing. It didn't gain them fan bases or star power or anything. All it's done is allow them to return the same roles over and over and over and over again.
Or, you know, twice. 11 years later.
I mean, seriously, if you're going to bash someone, at least try to do it based on something that's true.

You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl

"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
