Rent- the opening of "Seasons of Love", the final "no day but today"

I love those last few moments of the Passion OBC when everyone is alternating singing, "Your love will live in me." It's chillingly gorgeous.
"Here I go, and theres no turning back. My great adventure has begun" Sutton singing that line and s possibly the reason Astonishing is on my top 25 most played on I tunes.
Sarah's friend's solo in til We Reach That Day from ragtime makes the whole recording worth getting (Of course the entire show is amazing and you should have the recording anyway)
The defining moment on the Sweeney in concert cd: the final line of A little priest witht he harmony of George Hearn and Patti Lupone as the hundred thousand applause come roaring in. (I know it isnt obc but its amazing nonetheless)
I love all the little interchanges between the characters on the Avenue Q soundtrack. Rod and Nicky are priceless. "I don't care. What'd you have for lunch today?"
I also adore "See I'm Smiling" from Last 5 Years, for You know what makes me crazy- I'm sorry, can I say this? You know what drives me nuts?"
"When You Come Home To Me" is also a standout, obviously...but have to say "If I Didn't Believe in You" is so gorgeous, and I love Norbert shouting "PLEASE?" at the end of it. He's very shouty. ("WHAT?! DID YOU HEAR THAT?" in Wicked.)
I also just melt in "Say it Somehow" frlom Light in the Piazza at the line "Decide, decide!" Ah. So sweet.
ASPECTS OF LOVE
Rose and Alex singing over each other:
Rose: This one is gorgeous
Alex: It was her favorite dress
Rose: I can just see her
Alex: Rose, leave things as they are
Rose: I feel I know her
PASSIONS
"How long were we apart?"
"A month, a week, a day."
"To feel your touch again"
"We've never been away."
The reprise sung by some other man and woman.
PASSIONS
"To feel a woman's touch, to touch a woman's hand
reminded me how much I long to be with you
how long I've been without you near
and then to hear a woman's voice
to hold a woman's arm
to feel a woman's touch"
Especially the reprise.
I can't believe I didn't mention Ragtime!
"Coalhouse's Soliloquy"
Really the whole song but right when the music gets louder (and I guess "brassier") when he starts back with "I'll play 'em the music of..."
"New Music"
When Coalhouse joins in with "Sarah my life has changed..."
I heart you Brian Stokes Mitchell.
SWEENEY TODD:
Epiphany: Nothing. Nothing. NOTHING beats the orechestral soar as Sweeney sings "No nor ten men, nor a HUNDRED.."
Not WHile I'm Around:OBC: after "No one's gonna dare" theres the faint cello chords in the background.
Not While I'm Around: And one the revival: "You don't understand! Two quid was in it, two or three...The guv’nor giving up his purse- -with two quid? Not for a minute! Don’t you see?
Johanna: the final reprise of the song and Anthony is left singing alone. "I'll steal you..."
The Final Sequence: OBC: The huge orchestral reprise of JOhanna when Sweeney kills the Beggar Woman
The Final Sequence: OBC: "Oh NO! (my heart stops every time when he screams that). Oh my God. Don't I know you she said."
More to come

I love NPH's little trills at the beginning of Ballad of Booth (Assassins).
James Naughton's note in Chicago revival
-Both reached for theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...etc...
Terrence Mann's last notes in Falcon in the Dive and Where's the Girl reprise. Actually, every note of every song sung by Terrence Mann on that recording
A repeat: I also love Colm Wilkinson's "Two! Four! Six! O'OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's more, but if I continue I'll never stop :)
Les Mis in general-"To love another person is to see the face of God"
"Barcelona" on the OBC of Company:
"You're just a very special girl, June!"
"April."
Ragtime Prologue: when the entire cast sings the "It was the music of something beginning" verse... chills.
Also from Ragtime, I totally agree with peggyandvelma about "Sarah, my life has changed..." and especially "Sarah, come down to me." God, I love Ragtime so much.
Sunday in the Park with George OBC:
"There are Louis's, and there are Georges,
Well, Louis's, and George.
But George has George.
And I need someone..."
Chess (any version): The "who'd ever think it" melody from "Florence Quits" that runs throughout.

1 The end of the rent CD
2 The Circle of mice song from forbidden Broadway
3 The starts of Amazing Mayzie and Here on Who from Seussical
4 The part of Astonishing from Little Women where Sutton starts with "HERe I Go..."
5 The end of A Change In Me from On The Record
For Ca Only
too many to remember
but one that comes to mind is:
in LESMIS, "One Day More"- when everyone sings together-eponine's voice sort of rises above all for a second with "one more day all o-on my own"
- i love that!
I'm the official 1776 rep on this board:
The harmonies of "Till then, till then, I am, as I ever was and ever shall be... yours, yours, yours, yours, yours..."
Howard da Silva's "Oh, he will, John, he will" during The Lees of Old Virginia on the movie soundtrack.
"Is anybody there??" *TRUMPETS!!!* "Does anybody care??" *TRUMPETS!!!*
And on the Godspell OBC, Jeff Mylett hitting the falsetto note in We Beseech Thee - "Come sing about lo-OOOOVE!"

-- Probably over-mentioned by this point, but I love Mark's "but I am over her!" in Christmas Bells (Rent OBC).
-- Kuhn's vibrato on Nobody's Side on the Chess OBC on the word "side," right before the climax and her "never waste a hot afternoon!"
ETA: Ooh, ShbrtAlley44, I love all those moments as well. I'd like to add the "I have crossed the rubicon/let the bridge be burned behind me... commitment!" line.

>>Les Mis in general-"To love another person is to see the face of God"
That's my favorite line in the entire show. And I was listening to it recently on my iPod, and I realized that it sounded like Valjean held the note just a little longer than the two ladies. Cool.

I love the last drumbeats in the Finale on the Parade cast recording. I just love that Finale in general. It's so stirring, and the music is beautiful.
I also love the OBC version of Epiphany from Sweeney Todd. It's so great.
Another favorite of mine is during Back at Work from the Millie cast recording where Anne L. Nathan says, "Personal matters....NOT ON COMPANY TIME!!"
Just thought of two more...
In Our Children from Ragtime, near the end of the song part when there is a solo violin. Almost brought me to tears.
And in Aiutami from Light in the Piazza, near the end after Fabrizio sings "Salvami" and all the italians sing together when Franca is hitting those high notes...ahh. Sorry if that was confusing.
What about the guitar on th wedding singer cd?

Some bitlets of "Fantasies Come True" from Avenue Q:
-The harmony between Rod and Kate near the end
-There's a very small percussion bit when Rod starts to sing and when Kate starts to sing. Unless you've heard the song 75,000,000 times like I have, you wouldn't notice it.
Also, the beginning of "It's Your Wedding Day" from Wedding Singer. Brilliant.
Apart from everything Norbert Leo Butz does and the entire Sweeney revival recording? Let's see...
'The Last Five Years' - The Schmuel Song
"Have I mentioned today how lucky I am to be in love with you?"
It's such a lovely little moment in the show, made all the more heart-breaking by the fact you know it's not going to last.
'RENT' OBCR - You'll See
"You can't wipe out an entire tent city then watch 'It's A Wonderful Life' on TV!"
Something about Roger being angry gets to me every time. I also like "let it be, boys!". Why yes, I did really enjoy Jeremy Kushnier's portrayal of the role.
'Beauty And The Beast' OBCR - Transformation
"Two lives have begun now
Two hearts become one now
One passion, one dream
One thing forever true
I love you"
What can I say? I'm a sap. ^_^
'Sweeney Todd' revival - The Ballad Of Sweeney Todd (the last one of the whole thing)
That entire last bit, from where the music gets dark and scary just before Michael starts singing, right until the door shutting.
It gives me SEVERE chills every time, and I can't get enough of it!
'Les Miserables' - Javert's Suicide
Recording doesn't matter, as long as it's a Philip Quast one. I LOVE the way he does "there is no way to go O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-ON!".
There are FAR too many awesome moments in 'Les Mis', including all of 'Do You Hear The People Sing?' and all of 'One Day More!'. :3
My new favorite moment is from ...Spelling Bee
When Marcy sings "I speak six languages" and then says "six".
That part of the song always makes me smile and I find myself singing it in my head a lot and even out loud.

The bit between Jane and Tarzan during "Different" on the TARZAN OCR makes me smile quite a bit.

On the Jersey Boys OBC, in "Who Loves You" JLY holds out the "me".. "Come to meeeee, baby, you'll see" I have no idea why I like that so much
Parade- All the Wasted Time. When Leo says his last "I never knew anything at all."
Assassins Revival- Unworthy of Your Love. His first "I am unworthy of your love."
Rocky Horror Show Revival- Floorshow. Raul Esparaza singing for Riff Raff when he does his rock and roll singing of "Frank n Furter it's all over. Your mission is a failure, your lifestyle's too extreme. I'm your high commander...etc etc." I've listened to that 30 seconds more than I can say.
Les Miserables- One Day More. I just love at the end how everybody comes together. Also in Red and Black when Enjolras says his final "The color of despair."
Little Women - The Fire Within Me. After Sutton says "But we have each other," the piano reprise of "Some Things Are Meant To Be".
Les Miserables - On My Own. The guitar notes before "On my own, pretending he's beside me."
tick, tick.. BOOM! - Why. Raul's "Gotta rocket in your pocket and the Jets are gonna have their day!"
