Except she has been wanting to play Lily on Broadway for as long as I can remember. I actually thought they were not announcing her in Harmony because she was hoping SG would come to Broadway.
The production at the Ahmanson was pretty awful. A few good moments, but they barely kept it going in L.A. Even so, her energy was behind getting any production going.

There is talk about a limited Broadway run next season as part of a tour.
Sierra is committed to HARMONY and believes she might finally get her first much deserved TONY nomination for the role of Mary."
Agree. Sorry about SG, but love the idea of her creating a character all her own. Took her 6 years to get back on Broadway by working her butt off. So happy for her.
Lily may be a dream role for Boggess but it would seem, to me, to be at best a lateral career choice to prioritize it over a meatier featured role in a new musical that has Manilow behind it.

I agree. She was just very close to Lucy Simon and did the 25th in concert, performed How Could I Know in concert with Ramin at Carnegie Hall. Was in a workshop that didn't make it to Broadway a few years ago and THEN the Ahmanson! She's probably going to have to file it away like playing Christine in Phantom in Paris.
Harmony could indeed be her moment and I'm very happy for her.
