Was Aida produced by Disney? It had the "Disney's" logo at the top of Aida, but on ibdb it says Hyperion. Was that a division of Disney theatricals?
Initially Disney produced the show under the banner Hyperion Theatricals because they wanted to differentiate the more adult oriented Aida from its other shows. They marketed Aida to a very different demographic than Lion King or Beauty and the Beast. At some point during their run they dropped Hyperion and left it under the Disney Theatricals banner.

Did any advertising ever actually say "Disney's Aida?" I don't remember that. It was always billed as "Elton John & Tim Rice's Aida."

Sorry, Huss, but the OP doesn't get off that easily. I'm no old man or scrooge but I find, both in my job and personal life, so many millennials (and younger) who are somehow unable to utilize the tools and resources put in front of them to discover the answer on their own, without relying on others, in spite of the proliferation & accessibility of said tools and resources. This is 2016. If you come up with nothing in your preliminary search, then consulting with others is more than reasonable. In this example, someone has the awareness and ability to come here and start a thread about it but not the ability to type "Hyperion" into their Google search bar for these answers first? It's beyond ridiculous. Your personal attacks don't sway me in the least; it's very disconcerting to watch this trend unfolding before my own eyes.
Why are you discouraging sharing one's curiosity with a group of other people that likely might interested? I learned so much about this industry during my education because I spent my time on these boards day and night. Sure, the OP could easily use Google - but now that someone else has shared their knowledge on the topic, so many other readers will know a little more about how theatre works.

As you could tell I did google it, that's how I got to the ibdb page. I just wanted to get an answer from someone on these boards who might have more information on the subject than what a Wikipedia page has.
