On the Broadway Reddit, someone brought up how these three plays are coming in next season. We already have confirmation on ODC from Ed Harris himself, but has anyone heard anything else about these? The user mentioned Francois Arnaud is in Rain and Bradley Whitford is in AFGM.

I wish we would get these stars into new works by rising playwrights rather than in revivals of mid-tier works.

Unless they have a big A-lister in line for the female role in Three Days of Rain, I can probably count on my fingers and toes how many people would buy a ticket to see the co-lead of a single episode of television in it on Broadway. That play is a snooze, even without Julia Roberts weighing it down. Put it in Cherry Lane for a couple months maybe.

David Corenswet is co-starring with Arnaud. The Julia Roberts role was originally Britt Lower, she has dropped out.

The same Redditer who broke this news also shared that Goat with Pascal/Paulson is coming spring 27.

Agreed. Such a missed opportunity for this generational to learn new writers while coming to see their favorite stars.

I'm sort of astounded that we are getting a revival of Three Days of Rain...is anyone really asking for this? They would need an enormous name to sell this. MUCH bigger than Britt Lower.

I wonder if it's an actual Broadway revival and not something off-Broadway at the Lortel or something.

Yea, Three Days feels more appropriate for Studio Seaview to me. Or 2nd Stage.
Also, Corenswet allegedly sings quite well. Do a musical, Superman!
Whitford is rather boring casting for A FEW GOOD MEN if he's playing Jessup.

I think you’re underestimating the fans of that show. And while one episode focused on him, he was on most episodes in a smaller role. He had other fans from Borgias. Between him and Superman, I think it’ll sell well.

Corenswet and Arnaud should star in the Brokeback Mountain adaptation -- I'd be sat for that in a second.

Ah thats a good point about the Lortel or a prestige off-Bway run. I mean, I guess Corenswet should be a big draw though, he is currently Superman.

Arnaud is much more than Heated Rivalry and while it is not the most important metric, he has 1.3 million followers in his active Instagram presence.

Not to make EVERYTHING about race, but I find it very discouraging that everything being talked about here is white white white.
White plays by white writers starring white performers likely all directed by white men.

I love Three Days of Rain but it's such a delicate piece, it really needs to be done off-Broadway.
Oh, and why aren't we re-examining Greenberg's other plays? The Dazzle and especially The Violet Hour deserve their due.
