Posted: 6/17/05 at 4:02pmGranted I never got to see the show on stage; but judging by the cast recording, I think Ms. Alexander did a great job in the role of Amy. The character is supposed to be the snotty, spoiled youngest sister, I felt she did a great job. And I thought she was wonderful as the troll. Just me though...

Posted: 6/17/05 at 4:04pmI agree completely. However, I though another actress should have played her in the second act. She never appears to age at all and looks like a little girl playing dress up.

Posted: 6/17/05 at 4:07pmI didn't hate her at all - actually I didn't see what all the fuss was about - other than the fact that her voice kinda reminds me of Shirley Temple - but otherwise, I think she was fine in the show.
"I don't really get the ending,all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang,and later she kissed him on the toilet,after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung,and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen,and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady?Please help me,thank u very much!"

Anyway, I saw Amy five times in the role, and each time I liked her better. I thought she did a very good job with an underdeveloped, underwritten role, and I think her voice works well for the part.
