...and the option to present yourself rambling like a crazy lunatic trying to talk to voices in your head.
It look very unprofessional.
When the voices are both in your head AND your sig, you know you're in trouble.
(Does anyone remember the Kimberly-Clark thread? That was lol.)

bump
Is it really necessary to keep bumping this thread everyday? I know you want people to join your cause, but really, if you must bump can't you write an update or something?
Like, here's another company that declared bankrupcy.

Respectfully, no, because this cause is gathering hundreds of new supporters each day ... I have also promoted it on every other message board in this forum; the cause has even gotten great attention on both the West End and Toronto boards.
Except the off-topic one, where I still flat-out refuse to post anythng (a number of people here know why).

Since there's no way to follow click-through tracking, you can't assume every new member on the FB cause is coming because of this thread. Check that ego if that's really what you think.
If anything I'm considering leaving it just because you are so damn annoying.

then leave.
this isn't an ego thing; many, many people register at BWW all the time, and knowing that Save AMTSJ is growing so much every day, I will not stop.
I didn't say anything about stopping, but for the people that see the red icon who think something new has been posted, and for it to be just a bump, is annoying. I don't see what is so hard about just writing a line or two, even if it is to say there is nothing new, but new members are joining or don't forget to join, instead of just "bump".
And since I asked 2 questions in my post, and you only responded no, I'm assuming you were agreeing to the first question and no response to the second.
Your cause has $0 dollars donated.
But to let you know I really liked AMTSJ

During the bankruptcy process, AMT cannot accept donations.

We need another spokesperson who is more professional about dealing with this matter.....
AND WE WANT IT NOW!
tmm's childish, stubborn and annoying way of handling this "publicity" is doing more harm than good.

As of now, nothing major has been going on; the next major announcement we have, I will be sure to post it here. No need for insulting me; that's why I left the off-topic board over a year ago and haven't really posted there since.
Things have been happening; it's just that nothing has been finalized yet.
I'm not gonna comment on all this bumping stuff, but I just wanted to say that I live in San Jose, and am devastated. AMT was such a big part of my high school experience, seeing all their productions and the touring shows, their great work with seeing the high school shows and providing feedback and commentary that led to a big honors night at the end of the year (our own little tonys) that was such a BIG deal for all of us, and just feeling like we had something really special here in San Jose. It was such a special moment for me when I was nominated my senior year in high school for the AMT honors award, and I have so many memories from all the shows i saw there.
Everyone in the community is talking about it, and we're all just wondering whats going to happen next, and if we're going to continue to have access to first class theater here in the south bay. Its just so sad. Especially considering that we're all affected by the negligent actions of a respected theater halfway across the country,
I'm interested to see what comes of this.

Hopefully, things will work out ... today, I got e-mails from Robert Kelley and Phil Santora, the artistic and managing directors of Theatreoworks; they are both willing to do what they can.
I want to stage a huge benefit concert at the MV CPA, with like participation from theatres around here, and hopefully a few Broadway megastars, and Phil Santora showed great enthusiasm.
As for where to send money raised, he said that we may have to contact a lawyer to figure out all the legal logistics to see if a new non-profit could pick up the AMT banner. But, knowing that both of Theatreworks head managers are willing to do whatever they can ... the Theatreworks musical director is also an on-and-off conductor for AMT, not to mention my former choir teacher whom I've known for like twelve years now, so I have that connection ... the online cause is growing so much each day.
AMT "will" be celebrating their 74th season; the only question is "when?" :)
