Really? Do you know this for sure? That would be very rare on Broadway. Though a brilliant move for this show, as Zach seems to be even more popular amongst fans than Derek.

Great, thank you! I am going to NYC the 16-18th and will see it with this cast one last time :). However, I am surprised they haven't announced anything yet.

If Zach Adkins is replacing Derek as Dmitry, that is wonderful news. I had the pleasure of seeing Zach on as Dmitry back in October when Derek was out and he was absolutely fantastic.

Very excited to see who the new Lily is! Wishful thinking but Christine Baranski would probably be hilarious in this, although I doubt she'd take on a supporting role like this.
I'd be surprised if they promoted Zach Adkins to lead Dmitry, but if this is true, then I'm delighted - I saw him go on last fall and his Dmitry was a totally different and totally wonderful version of the character.

Is Lily that much of a role that an actress who is "long overdue" to return to Broadway would want to take this on?

I'm personally hoping this is him & rooting for him! I'm a huge fan of his dmitry, + some things said on lives/behavior of Zach Adkins interacting with his fans make me a little bit suspicious that he might be? Cautiously optimistic!
