Vicki Lewis back on Broadway is anything but disappointing! Good for an ensemble member getting his break, yay new talent! If you were hoping for a Real Housewife and a Newsie then, yes, this is disappointing.

Very happy to see Zach get the opportunity to shine full-time, and I am excited to see Vicki Lewis take on the role of Lily. Given how much my mom liked NewsRadio, I think I may surprise her with a return trip to see the show this summer.

Does anyone know what happened with Kelli Barrett’s involvement in Anastasia? From a couple of interviews she basically did a lot of the early readings/workshops. I’d love to see her in the role

I thought he was involved with Jagged Little Pill. Since they unfortunately won't bring Zach back, I'm thinking the best bet is for them to bring someone new in rather than move up one of the current understudies.

He is involved with jagged little pill! Zach wouldn't come back even if they asked, I don't think. As for a new dmitry after Cody is out, I think it depends on how long the show has left....if they have at least half a year left they might cast some one new. If less than that they will might promote an understudy just to hold it over a few month maybe?

I think Kyle Brown is involved with Moulin Rouge. He is one of the current understudies. And the other one Colby Dezelick is fairly new to the company. So they may not have a choice but to bring in someone new.

I guess Cody could always extend as well but he seems to be promoting his end date.

Kyle is doing Moulin Rouge I'm pretty sure, but the previews don't start till? June I believe? It probably depends on when the show is closing - if it's on the two year run, he could probably judt do it for the one month instead of having some one new do it for only 4 weeks. About Christy,February/March is the two year date of her contract so I wouldn't be surprised. No idea on who would replace her, though...

Kinky Boots keeps changing principals even though it's closing in April so if this show is closing and I don't think it is just yet, I don't think it's an issue to bring in a new Dmitry.

As for Christy, while I know she's been doing this a while now, she does seem genuinely happy so I'm hopeful she will stick around. If she does leave, I hope it's a Chilina Kennedy type thing where she takes a break for a few months and comes back again.

I think they may be pulling from the touring cast for Dimitri soon. By summer/fall I could see Matt Rosell taking on the role.

This could mean nothing but Cody Simpson is now promoting a March 24 concert in NYC with his band. That's a Sunday night when Anastasia doesn't typically have a show. So, I wonder if he may be doing an extension after all.

I have to agree. She loves this role and show so much, I know she’s been involved for a while, but unless something even better comes along I don’t see her leaving unless the show closes.

Christy said on her live yesterday that she is recording something with Derek. I they are recording something for Anastasia and he is coming back.

I feel like it won't last to the summer - I'm thinking it'll close somewhwee in between march and may. Maybe june if we're lucky. And about derek, this is likely about the recording you're referring to. Since its with steven sater I assume that recording is nothing to do with Anastasia...it might be a demo recording for something else all together?
