"And I Am Telling You" this is the most offensive, outrageous, and hilarious rendition of the song you will EVER see performed! — Page 2

I love the soprano note at the end. So unintentionally hilarious.

Yeah, yeah, everyone thinks this is a laugh-riot. I get it, I do.
Has anyone stopped to think that gee, those actually ARE the notes and those ARE the lyrics in that song, aren't they?
I'm not saying Jennifer (either Holliday OR Hudson) didn't do an amazing job turning this thing into a tour-de-force PERFORMANCE. But I AM saying that the song as written (and a lot of the rest of the Dreamgirls score) is mostly hack writing in my book. I'm saying that it REQUIRED a phenomenal performance coupled with great direction and a great orchestration to deliver the ovations the girl got nightly.
Dreamgirls was one of the few times I can think of where an absolutely BRILLIANT show was forged out of a mediocre score, due the amazing talents of its Bookwriter, Director/Choreographer, Designers and Performers. (But I respectfully accept that many of you will heartily disagree with me on this.) For fun and games, name another smash hit that reaches the level of masterpiece DESPITE its score and lyrics.

Nancy Wilton reminds me of the "Dreamgirls" scene in the movie "CAMPS" hahaha
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal
"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello

Now that's a trainwreck!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

Doodle, Doodle, Doodle, I had to turn that clip off! Oh the tears from laughing too hard. That wig was absolutely hideous and had a life of it's own.

I only have very few "favorites" on youtube and both Nancy and the original link are two of them...
I want to know how the other girls felt when her name was posted on the cast list!

You know I think it could have worked if she added baton twirling and juggling to the song.

I cannot believe I could laugh so much while watching a huge disaster. Schadenfreude indeed.

Well, to be fair she was a Business Admin. major and filing wasn't considered a talent.
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
