Lyls didn't say anything about "bi people turning gay". Re read his post. Slower this time.
"I won't get rid of any mentality"
Admitting you're mental is the first step!
Come out as bi, and then eventually come out as gay. Its the same thing as saying bi people turning gay Erikj972
No. It's not. One case is someone having to come to terms with their sexuality. The other is SOMEONE IS BISEXUAL.
Reading it slower didn't help huh?

Philly comes need to come out as an attention whore.
"Philly comes need to come out as an attention whore." That doesn't even make sense and no I'm really not an "attention whore."
My God, if this is how the theatre community reacts towards a bisexual individual, I shudder to think how they would react towards trans, intersex, non binary, or asexual individuals.
I don't think Phillypinto is representative of the "theatre community".
ummmmm actually i really am, and i bet I'm a helluva lot more involved in it then ErikJ972 is.
Most people I know in the theatre community have good reading comprehension skills.
lmao um okay...

Fantod, if you assume this board is for whatever reason representative of the theatre community, then I think Phillypinto is quite outnumbered in this thread. Not that I've been paying close attention since my last post, but...shouldn't this be moved to off-topic already? >_> It's not like anyone's mind is going to be changed vis-a-vis "beliefs" and "facts."
Seriously, "turning gay"? WTF.
whats the problem with turning gay? and yea this is getting old, the only reason i keep coming back is cause they keep talking about me lol
Well, god knows you ain't coming back to try to refute the points of people made here, the articles shared with you, or the accounts of the openly bisexual members who've weighed in.
lol cause theres no point. Nobody is gonna solve the world's problems on a message board on broadwayworld.com hahaha

I've had sex with with both male and female,trans,pre-op,post op-what does that make me?[apart from being a slut].
I suppose I slide between homo ,hetro and whoever I am with at the time-then that is what I am-ME .
YOU decide what you want to be and try to be happy with your decision but nothing is forever and yes,you can change your mind and go in a different direction whenever you want--up to you. It's like coming to a cross road--decision time.
I have witnessed so many on the guilt trip post sex; just wish society[religion?] could stop giving individuals reasons for doubting who they are [or want to be].
Eric--bi-bar was a joke
Andy is still not effeminite [but so cute-I must be gay].
It's 5am and I'm off to the gym

Well then. I have patience with the younger people on the board but sometimes I feel compelled to say, Talk less and listen more. You might just learn something.
I've often had two schools of thought on bisexuality. (Note: neither of them has ever involved NOT believing in it.)
1. Make up your damn mind already! and....
2. How lovely to truly be attracted to the soul of a person regardless of their sexual bits.
And neither is any of my damn business.
But by NOT believing in it marginalizes the person. Period.
Dramamama, that actually isn't what bisexuality is. Pansexuality or polyamory is the idea that you are attracted to somebody not because of their exterior but because of their interior. Bisexuals are typically sexually attracted to the physical forms of both male and female persons,

hahahaha except that at least two people have posted in this thread finding the information interesting and socially relevant. Multiple people have posted their dismay at how common your point of view is.
Discussions online don't change the world but they can certainly change a few minds. Social change doesn't just occur from Supreme Court rulings. It occurs in day-to-day discussions- it occurs when someone saying "I don't believe in bisexuality- I think those people just need to come out as gay" is corrected by the people around them and given new things to think about.
It's not a matter of opinion. It's not "chocolate is better than vanilla" - something that can't be proven one way or another.
The fact is: you CAN'T back up your beliefs. That's why you haven't.
whaaat are you talking about Kad!!! Ive already explained myself a few times!! You people just like to go 'round in circles!! Im not doing that sorryyy. I know you don't like my thoughts about this topic but it is what it is! Why can't we just leave it at that! Is it really necessary to keep at it days later?
