1. It's not a "strong score." The sample songs I heard were just okay, and nothing to write home about. It seems like a fairly faithful adaption of the movie - which is somewhat disappointing. It doesn't seem like they tried to be creative in their design at all a la Lion King - which is why The Lion King is still running.
I'm going to see the show no matter what, but it seems just a tad ridiculous to say this show will be good/bad based on who's involved. Nothing is a sure-bet these days. Updated On: 8/14/08 at 07:31 PM
TDH, if you've already seen it, then I'm sure you wouldn't mind sharing some things we've all been wondering about? Such as the human-Fiona to Ogre-Fiona transition.
I know it's off topic, but would Row F front mezz. be good for Shrek in NY at the Broadway theatre?
Thanks for any help!

I didn't say I thought the show was good, bad or otherwise. Although it does look a little:
to me.
I simply stated its a bit absurd to start throwing TONY-noms at a show when we hadn't had a confirmed review from the mouth (fingers?) of someone who actually saw it live.
Your posts didn't really denote your seeing it live, so I stand (semi?) corrected.
I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America.

I hate it! Last time I went on it, we were stuck on it for more than an hour and a half!!!! Not fun, especially right before the big drop!

Just so you know Kecia does not just voice the dragon. Chris Sieber told me that she will be inside a huge machine like dragon with her mbeing somewhat visible. He says it really looks amazing and is one of the technical beauties of the show.
