I haven't seen any mention of discounts for Boys in the Band. To date, it's only been on pre-sale to Audience Rewards members (I bought my tickets two months ago for June); I believe it goes on sale to the general public tomorrow.

I only maybe could see discounting during previews, if that. With a marquee cast like this, I could see it totally being like "Meteor Shower", where it can sell out a small theatre for the entire run on names alone.

If it’s like Meteor Shower, hopefully I’ll be able to grab $30 tickets off of Stub-Hub too!

Nah, unlike METEOR SHOWER, the subject really doesn't have the same cross-over appeal.  Judging by the amount of gay friends unaware of this revival is apparent the marketing isn't being one correctly right now.   Even friends who attend Broadway shows on occasion had no idea.  They are excited to see it, but had no idea it was even happening until I informed them about this.  This could be one of the countless shows that run on Broadway and many New Yorkers weren't aware of.  This happens so often.

I just checked a range of dates in May, and there are still lots of seats. The cheapest ones are at the side of the back row of the balcony for $89.00. It also says the show is 90 minutes. The two times I saw it I could have sworn it was longer and in 2 acts, although maybe I’m mistaken about that.

Does anyone know whether Booth theatre box office has started selling tix for this play yet?

As for Meteor Shower, I think the mixed/bad reviews after the opening is what caused those tix prices on stubhub to plummet.

Thank you for the code! It looks like a $10 discount since the regular price of those mezz seats is $129. Regardless, a discount is better than nothing! :)

I'm curious how this show will do given the stellar cast. If the show does well in the Tony's I can see this selling out at the Booth.

Tonys are irrelevant as this show opens in May, long after the cut off date for this season’s awards. It’ll be eligible for next year, but they’ll have been closed for a long time by then.

It's about a $40 discount for Rows D and E center.  Not too fond of the Mezzanine at the Booth, but I bit for the date I can go.

This is one show StubHub will be a blessing for as deliciously discounted last-minute tickets will be in plentiful.  Just checked various dates on StubHub and the amount of tickets they have for each performance is hilariously ambitious, especially as regular priced tickets in various areas are available at Tele-Charge.  Looking at the crazy prices on StubHub, you'd think those performances were completely sold-out.  They are not.

Wow I wish I had been smart enough to think like you and look at StubHub first - literally just bought tickets at full price for my June trip because the best I could get on telecharge other than premium was Orch Row O.  Since I'm coming from out of town I often have to fill all my show slots in advance and this looked like it was selling really well.  Now that I've looked on StubHub, there are 280 tickets for that night for sale, most of which are center Orchestra much closer to the stage.  Ugh.  Wish you had posted 24 hours ago LOL

Still too soon to tell if this will be lucrative or a fire sale on StubHub. A lot of tickets there is only relevant if they can't sell that many for above what they paid.

I agree it's still too soon to tell if there will be a fire sale or not. I've seen 200+ tickets available on stubhub a few weeks before performance for other shows but then 2-3 days before the actual performance, that number *surprisingly* decreases to only ~20-30 tickets available. Not sure what happened to those other 200 tickets all of a sudden but it is what it is.

most of those are unsold theatre tickets.
