I think he's implying, if he's serious, that Drew Carey could be Wilbur Turnblad, which sounds like a good fit.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Ouch! You're not kidding -- Nikki Blonsky's last gig was the 2010 ABC Family series titled HUGE. She hasn't done anything since nor has anything lined-up anytime soon. Poor gal.

Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.

The Bowl is a gigantic outdoor theatre. You won't get close to the stage unless somebody dies and you inherit their box seats. The good news is that sitting back a few sections is both affordable and very enjoyable. They always have giant TV screens on either side, and the acoustics are great anywhere (which is why they built it there).
EDIT: And make sure to bring a picnic dinner with you and a good pair of binoculars. Those are a must!
