Yeah, I can't wait for the tour, but I doubt she'll win the Tony, especially now that it closed.

I'm not surprised. Honestly, I'd rather see Brooklyn. I did not like Little Women AT all and I LOVE the play.

The show is obviously closing because people refuse to see the show with Amy McAlexander in it.

Damn, I wanted to see this show. Well, truth be told, I'll see almost anything, and this was something I had wanted to see. Maybe it's a clever move, by way of sympathy votes for Sutton come Tony time. Also, I love all the "I thought 'Brooklyn' would be first" comments. Get over people, it's still open!;-P
Oh, well, maybe I'll try to see it Sunday afternoon?

It's still open, and now well over 300 PERFORMANCES!

I am sad for this one -- it deserved a better run, I believe.

Shira, your icon looks like Carly Jibson on the toilet.

Just a random question, how can it close if tickets are still being sold for after May 22?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS NOT OKAY!!

I LOVE THIS SHOW!! DAMNITDAMNITDAMNIT. They should at least have given it a few more weeks. Jesus. I am so upset right now, I am crying. I know it's not the best show in the world, but I saw it 5 times and I loved it. Sutton was superb, as was the rest of the cast. I love the music, I love everything about it.

SUTTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't bear this. It's NOT FAIR.

Very sad when a show closes. There were a couple of first time producers on this one too. I wish everyone the best of luck in all future endeavors.

The producers probably haven't notified Telecharge yet.

I'm sure the cast was just notified tonight. There hasn't been time to update anything.

Why are BROOKLYN fans celebrating the Audience Award nominations? You do realize they mean practically nothing. Not to rain on anyone's parade but you're acting as if they're TONY nominations.

Maybe it's all a big mistake!! Maybe, someone was misinformed! Maybe it's really NOT closing.

Maybe....

It sounds sort of cruel to sort of hop over LW's closing but I can't wait to hear Sutton's next role. I seriously cannot get enough of this girl.

I saw a clip of the open rehearsals on Broadway.com and it seemed like a promising musical. I'll most likely see it on tour. It interests me. Definitely planning on getting the cast album, though.

It WAS a promising show. Unfortunately, the score was completely forgettable and the book needed such an imense amount of rewriting that the show never really stood a chance. At the beginning of the season this was the one show I was looking forward to more than any other, also so I was extremely dissapointed in it.
