So I lent my sampler CD to a friend in hopes that I could drag her with me to NYC in the fall to see the show. She just emailed me to say it's not her kind of thing...I just don't understand?? How could that be possible? I guess I've been in love with musicals & theatre for so long that I don't understand how someone could not like that kind of thing.

Oh well, I do have another friend going with me. She never said she didn't like the sampler, but then she never said she liked it either...

Ehhh, well people have different views. I lent my sampler to a few friends and they loved it, others were blah about the gay issue. I even gave a short synopsis to a friend and she was SO excited about it.

We have to remember that not all people are going like BARE, it may be the greatest to us, but to others it could be crap.

The person I'm going with is sort of an a**hole, but unfortuneatly he's the only person my mother trusts me going into the city alone with. Thank god I'll have starlyricist there

what you need to do is what I learned to do when I was younger..... 'arrange' to go with a person that your parents approve of, but consire with said person and each go do your own thing....

That'd be perfect! We tried that when he wanted to drage me to RENT (UGH) and he didn't want to see CAROLINE OR CHANGE. Unfortuneatly, my mother found out and was all "Why do you need to split up blah blah blah"

We'll see what happens, I think he wants to see BARE but I don't want to see it with him. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable getting that emotional in front of him, and he's an ass at stage doors, no compliments just "sign this please"

My parents were ALWAYS clueless. I was 17, going out for a full weekend and partying an hour from home and they never knew.. hell... I was 19 and my mother SWORE up and down that I was a virgin! um.. NO

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say thanks for all the birthday wishes. I am now a legal drinker in canada. The gavin concert looked awesome, too bad I have to live in michigan and miss all of this good stuff. However, I did just get my signed cd sampler in the mail so now my collection is complete! Well minus the actual cast recording but we will work on that as it becomes available!

Yeah, I think there were 9 cds left when I got mine. Although that site is pretty dead most of the time, so I doubt they are going fast but I wouldnt wait around too long.

I was watching camp the other day and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can hear kearran singing heres where I stand? I hope so cause i love that song and Im sure she is amazing.

I think we need a dvd of the Bare concert cause us non new yorkers need a chance to see it too!

OK, so....was just listening to auditions. Does it bother anyone else when claire says best friends playing best friends....how poetic? How does she know what roles Peter and Jason have? Maybe I need visual, or am just too picky, but felt like sharing. lol.
