Ah, got it. I just hadn't heard of him, so I was unaware he was problematic or anything. Good to know.

Personally I hated the movie but liked the show, Really good for a rush ticket in the orchestra especially.

The stage management team has an Instagram account and they shared this photo today of the house set onstage at the Marquis
How is the show selling? And this is open-ended from what I understand?
The set is actually perfect for the Marquis Theatre, also isn’t the theatre in the lobby of the hotel?

As far as I know they haven't mentioned anything about a limited run. The first few shows have already sold VERY well. After that, not quite sure I haven't checked.

Another photo, from the head of props. They are moving into the theater!
Michelle Aravena posted a little video of herself and the cast in a recording studio. I guess the show use sweetener tracks for some ensemble numbers?

Yes - someone else in the cast posted "recording sweeteners today." The Girl Scout's screams are also pre-recorded - Dana Steingold posted a video of herself recording them during the original run - and I'm sure there are some other small things like that too.

Was walking through the Marriott today and the doors to the theatre were open bc crews were loading in tech. I was able to get a glimpse of the attic set piece and Delia’s room as well as the roof of the Deetz’s house through the open door. Very excited.
When is the official opening night? Are the critics review it again do we know?

Michelle Aravena just posted that she will be out of the show for four weeks due to an injury, wishing her a speedy recovery. It looks like Natalie Charle Ellis went on for Miss Argentina for tech as well as Delia since Leslie Kritzer was out for the day.
I think there was an invited dress rehearsal… This afternoon…?
Looks great, so glad IT'S SHOWTIME!

Can someone who attended tonight spoiler-tag post the new opening lyrics to The Whole Being Dead Thing? Is it just the same as the album or did they come up with a new lyric for the Marquis?

Saw the show tonight and I’m so happy it’s back. The whole cast was on their A-Game tonight. Elizabeth Teeter is the best Lydia by miles in my opinion. She adds so many layers to Lydia that wasn’t there before.

Could you please tell us if there were any notable differences from the original run? Thanks in advance! :)

Besides the line that replaces the Winter Garden line, nothing has been changed. There were a couple of new jokes but they were most likely just Alex ad-libbing a bit.
Delia no longer disappears in the scene before they go to the netherworld since Leslie is no longer Argentina was the only change I noticed.
