I'm genuinely curious, is there confirmation somewhere this is non-union?
NETworks do both Equity and non-equity, and on their website they have the show listed as full week only. Definitely wouldn't be surprised if you're correct but haven't seen confirmation anywhere of this.

Also, since the teaser posts are coming from an Equity actress, it seems more likely that the tour will be Equity. I assume that the reason for the "cryptic" aura surrounding the topic is because specific details about the tour are not solidified enough to be publicly announced.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Since Jerry Mitchell is quoted in the article about her casting, I'd have to think it's Equity.

This is a non union tour. Original creatives are often involved since it’s a replicated production using his original work reset by associates.

Sometimes the original director/creatives are very active even in a non-Equity production, especially when it's the First National. They get paid (often handsomely), and they want their work to look good and be represented well since it's going to be seen by more people on the road than on Broadway.
(Maybe Mitchell and Rockwell and Finn Ross will devise a way to make the set & projections look less ugly ;) )

This was truly the ugliest show I’ve ever seen on Broadway. Amongst many other Rockwell shows. It really let it down, along with Stephen DeRosas truly terrible performance.

Last night I had the pleasure of seeing the first performance of the national tour of "Boop! The Musical" in Rochester. Director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell was there and gave a brief welcome speech. The company had spent the past two weeks in Rochester teching and rehearsing. Those who saw it in New York know it's a tech-heavy show. Jerry said they had only gotten through the entire show twice, but last night went off without a hitch. The only problems I noticed were a few stray blinking lights.
This a non-equity company, but a very talented cast. Aliya Grace as Betty is nearly a clone of Jasmine. She is incredible and carries the whole show easily. Also impressive was Ashley Grace as Trisha. She has a great belt in her numbers.
The sets and staging are different than Broadway, but in a similar vein. Gone is the big preshow drop with BOOP! across the entire stage. A smaller set piece in the center has the same logo. They make extensive use of video walls, but I thought they worked effectively.
The lighting, dancing and choreography were pretty much what we saw on Broadway, which was quite impressive. Touring audiences will love all these big dance numbers. I highly recommend seeing this if it comes to a city near you.

Thanks for the review. I didn't see this Broadway but I enjoyed the cast recording, so maybe I'll catch this when it comes to SoCal.
