Theme park? Fans of David Foster? Oy! This is not The Lion King. Fans of this show are living in La La Land. Will be very interested to see what the grosses look like from last week. If there is no measurable bump, then it is life support. The show is not near recoupment and it can't live on the current wraps.

I mean... let's not get ridiculous. She has a presence in Toon Lagoon that features many old cartoons of the era and that area has not been touched since it opened over 25 years ago. Dudley Doo Right has a ride, Boop does is fact not have a ride.

This person's mental instability was apparent BEFORE that awkward lie exposure. Stop engaging here, its gross.

Piccolo? and I am undstable? ya okay. Matt loves engaging as does Hussy and so many others. Why? The unvarnished truth. Not all shows are sparkly and wonderful. But Hussy and Matt must be flacks or investors baby

Well if I was an investor at least I would have been there opening night.
Even though some of your posts do get edited on here for what they say you still go on with the condescending attitude to others. It really is disheartening that it is allowed to continue.

i hate that i still have to see their comments when people quote reply to mrshowbiz, but you do have to respect them at least a little for having the dignity to lay low for 3 weeks after they got caught lying about being at opening night and the after party lol

If I understand the rules on here correctly, posts only get deleted if they offend America’s Sweetheart, Sutton Ross.

I was at today’s matinee, the first performance after Tony nominations. Jasmine Amy Rogers received a standing ovation after “Something to Shout About” that must have gone on for at least three full minutes. She was repeatedly overcome with emotion, visibly crying (which just caused the audience response to surge again), and sinking down until she ended up kneeling on the stage. Jerry Mitchell came out during the curtain call to announce the nominations (video below). All in all, a very special performance, and a happy coincidence that I booked tickets weeks ago for today as part of this trip.

Wonderful! I didn't expect a ton of nominations but best musical and most especially score would have been terrific. Happy I'll see Boop again next week.

My hope for BOOP to go on a national tour. IMO, the biggest obstacle is the ticket prices. Broadway is very very expensive and not everyone can afford it especially families. This show is a good example of it.
