It's sad, but I agree with you about the Brooklyn advertising system.
But, I have to say that mailing the Sampler CD helped them A LOT.

Its really not right... I mean they should advertise more like they do for hits like Hairspray or Wicked...

HEy COme on I care about Brooklyn ROb! just some people r more lucky then others n their aunts take them to broadway to see it! and then to meet the new cast of wicked and...VIVA LA BROOKLYN!
Haven't seen the commercial yet, but I've heard the radio ad numerous times. It's really drawn out and exaggerated and its basically Eden's solo in Once Upon a Time.
I love Brooklyn with all my heart. I saw 6 shows when I went to NYC. Wicked to Q. Brooklyn was my favorite. Living in California I do as much as I can to support my favorite show. GO BKLYN!
i saw the commercial its cute
maybe you will be able to put the commercial on the fan site toon?
The commercial is terrible. They cut and paste the song like 12 times and it sounds rediculous. I like the idea of Eden being around the Brooklyn Bridge, but didn't they just use the clip they used for the Thanksgiving Day parade? I can't see that commercial getting anyone to go see BKLYN - she sounds very shrill. But she looks okay...
are they playing "heart behind these hands" on the radio? i swear i heard it yesterday when i walked by the security guard's radio on my way to class. i think maybe they should have used another song than "once upon a time" on the commercial...brooklyn's literal musical score is great but the lyrics are lacking no? glad to know it's not TOTALLY flopping at the box office though from the Brooklyn banter that's been going on lately on the board i'd have thought otherwise. when i saw it a month ago it was sold out.
The commercial sounded like it was taken from the cd and then just humbled a little bit. It did show Eden's powerful voice though, which might attract new comers to the show. I loved this show but I think they could've included scenes from the stage.
I think the commercial should have included other cast members. It just seemed boring. There wasn't anything special about a girl walking around.
Hey ClumsyDude.. I support BKLYN! I've seen it 4x!!
I really want to see the commercial!
I didn't like the commerical. It looked like a commerical for a CD of a person no one knows. You know, one of those "So and So sings your favorite love songs!" Then they have the person singing infront of some scenic background - usually a water fall. This time it was the Brooklyn Bridge.
This has nothing to do with my thoughts on the show itself, I just think the commerical wasn't that great.
"maybe you will be able to put the commercial on the fan site toon?"
AHHH!
I'm going crazy!
I think I'm the only person in NYC who did not see it...
I'd like to hear u hit that note!
Ms. Espinoza is a very gifted Singer
This show has a rather small weekly Nut
most of the creative Team is new to Bway and are probly takin low royalties to keep their work on Broadway
Good fer Them.
I was not a Big Fan of the "book" or the Music,
but I think the CAST was AMAZING.
and I think the Commercial is interesting,
Looks a Little like it was made and edited on someone's computer,
but that is Hip right now no?
and Eden looks Great
she always does.
Ha it just came on
getting addictive
