Hey,
Just wondering if anyone saw the new BRKLYN Commercial...it just aired on Fox...any thoughts?
what's it like...i didn't see it.
I saw it. Didn't make me want to see the show any. I am curious about it though. I don't feel like that commercial would help them draw in people. Especially since they have the song Eden apparently "screeches" on. I saw her do it live in Bryant Park and I enjoyed her. Are there matinees of Brooklyn on Wednesday? I may try to go this afternoon :)
did it have all the songs or just "once upon a time"? I heard a radio commercial and it was just her singing that song.
I saw the Brooklyn commercial on TV last night. It had Eden walking around different parts of Brooklyn singing Once Upon a Time. The song was cut weirdly though, and it didn't sound good at all.
ya know, if they just left out the horrid noise of a "note" she hits at the end that would be an almost good song... but with it, and they must love it since all press clips, commericials and appearances in, it just makes me say oh god no

Does this only show in NY? I would love to see it.
I was laughing when I saw it. "Feel the power of... Brooklyn."
I think Eden sounds pretty damn good though.
Am I the only one WHO DIDN'T SEE IT?
Ahhh I'm going crazyy!

SCBWannabe, do you realize you said:
"I saw it. Didn't make me want to see the show any."
and
"Are there matinees of Brooklyn on Wednesday? I may try to go this afternoon :)"
...all in the same paragraph? LOL.
I saw the commercial this morning. Eden looked cute. I wanted to see the others though.

what?! comercial dangit ill probably never see it!
Am I still the only one who did not catch the Commercial?
I do enjoy BKLYN and Eden...with that said, the commercial does not leave me wanting to run to the Plymouth...I would like the show to live for awhile longer but I think it wont last to 2006
It's interesting that before the reviews came out, people (on this
board too, yes I can give you links) thought Brooklyn will be a hit..

Hey Tiny... U n I are the only ones who seem to care bout Brklyn... its sad...
I honestly thought it would be...many compared it to RENT so of course, people think "automatic hit" - not so because for one, BKLYN is nothing like RENT and secondly, I feel they failed in regards to advertising...outside of my theatre circle (which sadly only include this board and 2 of my friends), no one has heard of it...they heard of RENT, Wicked and even Ave Q...please dont take my thoughts as "TheatreGrl hates BKLYN" cause I dont...I just dont think its going to last. I loved Taboo, yes it had its problems but the score was brilliant and and so was the cast...if that didnt stay open, I doubt BKLYN will (even though its life has lasted longer than Taboo so far) ::shrugs::
