You need sparkle and charisma to play a fashion doll?
Damn, and I thought the Beauty and the Beast furniture pieces had a tough row to hoe.
eta: OK, SG, I just snorted AGAIN. People will talk.

Sorry, Calvin. But I just keep picturing Smithers with Malibu Stacy onstage.
Not too sure I would tell anyone if I were cast in this show.
Well, here's an article on BWW about the lucky girl who's starring in this tour:

I'd forgotten that line! I LOVE it!
Totally OT now: I love the Planet of the Apes musical starring Troy McClure with the melody from Rock Me, Amadeus.
You have to read the review that follows that story.
GOOD LORD, Dottie! You HAD to point out that review!!
LOL
They're all wearing heels, if you look closely.
Maybe besides needing sparkle and charisma (and Barbie's huge gravity defying breasts) you need her "fresh-from-the-footbinder, have-to-wear-high-heels-because-her-feet-are-deformed" tootisies...
By the way, any word on who are the poor schlubs who wrote the songs for this abomination?
And people complained about Lestat
I hope Ken has some good songs. Maybe G I Joe can make an appearance somewhere in it
Sounds as intersting as the Caspar the Ghost musical must have been (not)
I saw "Casper" twice. At least, it had Chita.
It did not have a ghost of a chance
Chita must have been its only saving grace
he is into a guy who works in the show.
sheesh, for a man, no less.........
LOL!!!hey, i am just being a good friend, and i always try to find something good in every show, but the idea of seeing this production in particular doesn't thrill me.
You sound like a really good friend, but you have to draw the line somewhere!
hehe, i am already planning my "intermission getaway"! LOL
If you see it, you must post your review!
I thought WICKED was the Barbie musical.
no Wicked is the musical for fat girls with acne. fat girls with acne don't like Barbie at all...
**note my acne scars and jelly rolls**

The African American girl in the picture is two time Helen Hayes Award Nominee Felicia Curry... so there definately is some talent in the show.
