What are your thoughts, and why?

Piazza - beautiful music, great story, fabulous talent.
Streetcar - I haven't seen it and I've heard VERY mixed reviews, but I love the show so much. My English class was going to go see it, but when it got killed in the NY Times, my teacher decided against it (and I'm broke so I can't really see it by myself)...damn.

I think I'd say The Light in the Piazza as well.
Just a beautiful show.
I think this is because it isn't tainted by the commercialism that rules Broadway right now.
Lovely music, story, design, and performers.
So, yes, Piazza.

Pillowman.
I've never seen anything like it.

I'm definitely thinking about going back to see it again before it closes. It'll be my third time, that's exciting. I haven't yet seen a Broadway show more than twice. Perhaps Piazza will be my first.

I'm sorry, I know these are people's own preferences, but DRS is a load of sh*t.
I vote Piazza.

Right now I would say Spamalot, with Avenue Q & Spelling Bee closely behind. As far as why, well I guess I like to laugh.
Mind you, this is subject to change next week once I finally see Light in the Piazza.

I still need to see Spamalot and Bee. Drs was funny but not in the same League as Avenue Q or Hairspray.
I loved the Full Monty as much as Q though.
Yazbeck is very talented.

Corine...... your homework assignment this week is to see the Bee. Please post your essay (or review here), neatly typed & double-spaced.
Spamalot is a great show, but I would wait until Hank Azaria returns & you can see the original cast.

For musicals, I would have to say it's a tossup between SpamAlot, DRS, The Producers, and Avenue Q. For jukebox musicals, All Shook Up because I'm an Elvis fan and I liked the story and the songs they used. For plays, Glengarry Glen Ross or The Pillowman.
