I saw a few posts about the best production and best performance of the decade but I thought it would be neat to see what everyone thinks the best songs of the decade are. It looks like a few people beat me to it but I found some other people doing this on Twitter:

I think Alexander Hamilton probably tops it for me. What do you think?

She Used To Be Mine--Waitress
Alexander Hamilton/Yorktown (The World Turned Upside Down/Wait For It -Hamilton
Stay I Pray You -Anastasia
Most of the songs from Once On This Island
Welcome Home (Reprise) -Bandstand
Wait For Me (Reprise) -Hadestown
None of the songs in Once On This Island belong here because they weren't written this decade. The original Broadway production of OOTI premiered in 1990.
I would add:
Omar Sharif - The Band's Visit
Not My Father's Son - Kinky Boots
Seventeen - Heathers
One Second And A Million Miles - The Bridges of Madison County
Memphis Lives In Me - Memphis
Changing My Major - Fun Home
"The Room Where It Happened" (Hamilton) and "When I Grow Up" (Matilda).
My top choice would probably have to be "Answer Me" from The Band's Visit!
My favorites, alphabetical by show:
Answer Me - The Band's Visit
Public Life - Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson
Joseph Smith American Moses - The Book of Mormon
Man I Never Knew - The Burnt Part Boys

I love a lot of songs from Once, but they were all from the film that came out in the previous decade. So, in no particular order...
Omar Sharif and Haled's Song About Love - The Band's Visit
It's Quiet Uptown and The Room Where It Happens - Hamilton
She Used To Be Mine - Waitress
Ring of Keys and Changing My Major - Fun Home
Asheville - Bright Star
You Will Be Found and Requiem - Dear Evan Hansen
Welcome to the Rock - Come From Away
Wait for Me - Hadestown

Great picks so far... I wholeheartedly agree with:
Answer Me - The Band's Visit
When I Grow Up - Matlida
She Used to be Mine - Waitress
Before and After You/One Second and a Million Miles - Bridges of Madison County
Hamilton - so tough to pick one or two of many... but I'm going to say One Last Time and Burn
I'll add a couple more:
For Forever - Dear Evan Hansen (the score is full of great songs... this one is my favorite. alt - In the Bedroom Down the Hall - perhaps the best song written for a musical that I may never see performed on stage...)
With You - Ghost the Musical (a stunner... whether you like the show or not)
1. She Used To Be Mine (Waitress)
2. With You (Ghost)
3. Telephone Wire (Fun Home)
4. Days and Days (Fun Home)
5. Hold Me In Your Heart (Kinky Boots)
6. Always Starting Over (If/Then)
7. It’s Quiet Uptown (Hamilton)
8. At Long Last (Bright Star)
9. Theme Song (The View Upstairs)
10. One Second and A Million Miles (Bridges of Madison County)
"It All Fades Away" (Bridges of Madison County)
"Memphis Lives In Me" (Memphis)
"Sincerely, Me" (Dear Evan Hansen)

Agree with much of what’s been said already, I’d throw in:
Dust and Ashes- The Great Comet
One Day- Grounshog Day
"Everything About You" - Groundhog Day
"Washington On Your Side" - Hamilton
"Nobody" - Bandstand
"Santa Fe" - Newsies
"Love Will Stand When All Else Falls" - Memphis
"Hard to Be the Bard" - Something Rotten!
"Me And The Sky" - Come From Away
"Go Back Home" - The Scottsboro Boys

I would not chose it as the best, but I have to mention:
"Michael in the Bathroom" from Be More Chill.
It wasn't alone, that show had a couple of great songs. But can any other soundtrack claim to be the whole reason the show made it to Broadway? Probably not.

Many of mine have already been mentioned and I was glad to see Go Back Home and It All Fades Away appear. . And it's interesting that three songs from DEH have been mentioned so far, and while I agree that they're all great songs, the one from the show I'd probably put on my list would be So Big, So Small, just for its sheer emotional power. (And the show's anthem, You Will Be Found, is not even on anyone's list as yet unless I missed it.)

I'd also like to add "A Musical!" from Something Rotten!
