Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

That's hysterical Marguerite! I joked with her that she should sign mine, but that's awesome that she really does sign some.
Christine's the man!

Posted: 6/13/06 at 6:09pmthe guy at DRS was a jerk. He came out yelling "Norbert's not coming out this way, he went out the other side so stop asking!" But the girl at Sweeney was so cute and nice. She seemed to be a really genuinely nice person.

Posted: 6/13/06 at 6:13pmI love anyone at the Palace because they force the ensemble to sign and you don't feel awkward and they all go down the line and there's no yelling or rude behavior, for the most part.

When I saw Sweeney it was a guy but that was back in November.
How does one obtain a job of stage door attendant?

The guy at Jersey Boys and the girl at Sweeney are my two favorites.
Kevin at the Imperial can come off as a jerk, but he's a pretty cool guy.

Can I ask...what is the whole "stage door" thing about? I'm guessing it's when peopel wait outside the shows for the actors to come out so they can get an autograph, right? I guess I just assumed that the actors preferred to be left alone. Is it more of a younger crowd scene? Mostly tourists? Do the actors get huffy or are the accomodating?
I'm seeing Sweeney in a few weeks and was told to stop by to say Hi after the show. I don't want to do that if it's a mob scene or a fangirl thing.

The girl at Sweeney was very sweet. She was hillarious too--everyone was cheering when people came out, and when they saw the door open, they started cheering--and it turned out it was only her--and everyone got really quiet and she asked, "What?? That's all I get?!" :-P
I joked with my friend about asking her for her autograph. She made the Sweeney stagedoor fun
.
The number of people that were at the Sweeney stagedoor the day I saw it, she said, was the most there have ever been she thought.
There was some grammatical error in there. I know it. I'm too lazy to fix it.

Kevin is an ex-Marine and he takes his job very seriously. He's had a rough life. He likes to announce the "bad news" loud and clear from the start so there are no if, ands or buts and/or hurt feelings. That's why he came out that night and right up front said that that way about Norbert. It's not his fault Norbert decided to go that way and he knew people would be asking over and over... He is/was a personal guard for Hugh Jackman which is how he eneded up working at the Imperial back when BOY FROM OZ played. Really, he works for the Shubert organization. He is *really* great.
Anyway- Moxie- "stage dooring" is for everyone. Most stars enjoy it, expect it and particpate when they can- which is often. Just be sure to respect any special rules the backstage doorman may announce and have
It's fun!
