The ensemble loved her right back. I understand she was extremely gracious and generous to them in many ways. Gosh I miss Broadway so much.

When broadway reopens one day, the first show I'd want to be at would be her in Dolly. Love and miss it daily.

I wholeheartedly agree!
The sets and costumes are in storage and the St James Theater is available. Let's make this hapoen!
And after a long hiatus from the show, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’d agreed to bring it back with the entire original revival cast. This would definitely infuse life back to Broadway when it finally returns. People would not only fly in to see her and HELLO, DOLLY!, but business would fuel into other shows, restaurants, hotels, etc.
I was one of the lucky ones to have seen her Dolly Levi. Her singing was iffy, but she nailed the comedy. Quite honestly, she was good but not great, but I thought there were better parts of the recent Hello, Dolly! revival. She'll generate a LOT of buzz though.

I saw her towards the end of her initial run. Her voice was tired, but who cares? She, to me at least, was giving it all. She could've halfway spoken through the score and the audience would still be eating out of the palm of her hand (me included).

Yes, like Bernadette Peters.

And Donna Murphy. I have seen Channing, Rogers, Raye, Bailey, Grable, Merman, Dora Bryan, Midler, Peters and Murphy in the role -- plus some touring company and Summer Stock actresses as well -- and I honestly thought that Murphy's was the best.
Murphy > Midler > Peters
It would be a miracle for the show to return with Bette. She's have to take a salary cut as people ain't paying those prices regardless when Broadway reopens.
I wonder if big names who love the theater will be willing to take a drastic pay cut to help Broadway return, once this ends.

It will be interesting to see if star driven vehicles help bring out of town theater goers back when the time is finally right.
If Broadway reopens next Summer/Fall, Hugh Jackman's The Music Man will be the test. I also wonder if he's willing to take a salary cut, too
