hey, thanks for the welcome messages.
i found this article in today's Sunday Express (23/10/05). It's about James (albeit a bit late!)
Enjoy.
thanks! good article! (and also sad that he had to leave)
Hope haydn stay with liam until his contract ended. Billy elliot does not work without her.
WHAT AN AMAZING ARTICLE! is that the entire article? but it does make it sound a bit tragic, you know.
Yeah that was the entire article...and it's kind of old news to us! Interesting to see though.

I am sorry to confirm that the rumour that James will be returning to replace Liam during the break - is false. What might be happening is that one of the 'Billys in training' who is next in line for the role of Billy, might have an early start. Either this and this cannot be confirmed at present, or one of the other current Billys will stand in for Liam.

James can no longer sing well. He would be be absolutely aweful playing the role of Billy when his voice keeps breaking and is too deep for the role.
Should he reappear as Billy, be advised that you would be throwing away money to see a showing with him in it. Make sure that someone who can sing will be 'Billy' for the performance you wish to go to.

Thats a good article, thanks for sharing, 'Simply Musicals' Did you happen to read the "Opinion" on page 26 by any chance? If so, what did it say?

'It takes one to know one' as they say Musicals Fan.
It would be really helpful to us all if you started by refraining from your own immature 'deranged ramblings'thereby freeing up this thread for some sane and constructive comment about a brilliant show the success of which James contributed to in no small measure whenever he performed as Billy.
I second Alan Roger

Hi folks,
well i've been away for a bit and have just got on-line for the first time in weeks and what's happened? It just seems to be pages and pages of arguments.
Anyway onto nicer things,WOW great news about James. What a trooper and good to see that once the boys finish in the show they are still keeping close links with the show.
Onto an idea, see if anyone thinks this is a good idea. How about a Billy Elliot The Musical book? They could show us behind the scences etc etc and have profiles of each of the cast. I'm sure there's a lot of people on here who would buy it!!
Anyway got to go,good to be back and GOOD LUCK JAMES.
Billy Chat!!
I will defo go and queue for the Fri nite or Sat matinee, hopefully I will get a tkt. That is because I HAVE to see James no matter wat!

It's Leon the one i'm desperate to see at the moment(seen the other three)but i wouldn't say no to seeing James one last time!! Will Sat be his last or may he continue for Liam for a little longer?
Billy Chat!!
Is anyone else a little muddled up. As some people are saying James is coming back to the show for 2 weeks and some are saying that hes not. Is there anyone who can shine a light on this. And set the record straight as im really muddled up!!!
