Good evening everyone. Sorry for the delay in posting this to you, the server I use has been down!
A friend of mine went to the theatre tonight and managed to see Leon and Joey, who they thought was amazing. They also asked the theatre staff for me about the OCR of which they replied "no we don't have any cd's here at the moment, they are due to arrive mid November".
Hi, does anyone know which seats they reserve for the day tickets? I know that it's the first row on the righthand side of the stalls and also the side seats (R/L 1-5) in the dress circle. Are there any other seats with a slightly better view that are sold as day tickets???
Haya everyone! I am so happy and gobsmacked that James Lomas is returning to play the role of Billy while Liam is off, as James is without a doubt the best out of the 4. During his run, I managed to see James a few times, 2 times in the previews, and a few times during the year which includes his last night!!!!! I have seen Liam and George equal amounts luckily too! But personally I wasn't that impressed with Liam. To be honest I don't like the way he performs Billy. He seems to have captured the soft innocent boy, who I think would have been better playing the role of Micheal. George is absolutley outstanding. No more said. I have yet to see Leon, but I don' think anyone of the boys can beat James. He is absolutley OUTSTANDING. Everytime I saw him perform, he just got better and better! Although the first time I saw him in the previews, I thought nothing more could be improved, I felt that he grew into his character he seemed to learn and know more about hs character than the other boys. The emotional input James portrays is absolutely incredible!! On the last night, you could feel the emotion from everyone in the audience and even on stage there were tender moments as well as the funny. One of the things that set me off, was infact with one of the ballet girls!! At the end of 'Shine'(which was performed brilliantly by everyone on that stage), one of the girls as you look at the stage, on the floor on the left, seemed to be trying so hard not to cry! Clearly these children and adults have become close, the equivalent is like a family, as everyone was crying at the end! Even the men were!!
There's unanswered question somewhere from someone. I am also curious about that. Is james replacing liam for one week or two weeks (in case I can't go this week)

Hi, I was looking back at some of the older post's the other day and came across a link to a clip of a young boy singing "Electricity", does anybody still have that link as I've tried to find it to watch the clip again and can't find it! Also does anybody know who the boy was? Thanks in advance! Updated On: 10/25/05 at 08:25 AM

This is my last post on this message board as I am getting fed up with the petty comments made by a certain user!
I have started my own Billy Elliot the musical forum where posts of an unkind nature can be deleted or edited whichever is needed, I'm hoping that it won't be necessary to do this though.
Everyone is welcome to join and if you want the website address please PM me here and I'll gladly send it to you. It is in the early stages but so far we have 19 members and quite a few posts, I hope to welcome some of you to the forum very soon, thanks. Lin
Hi, i now that this post is a bit late but i fort i would just let you know that the OCR was not onsale at the theatre last night so we will just have to wait to Nov 21st. I read a post earlier which stated that Leon and Joey performed, however, i was there at the show last night and it was definatly Ryan that played Michael, not Joey. Sorry just thought i would say it. Once again it was an excellent show and i thought that Leon did very well considering he has only been performing for just over a month! The roles of the Dad, Mrs Wilkinson and Tony were all played by the understudies so it seemed a bit strange watching them but i thought they all did very well! GMFan!! X
By the way, the boys featured in the clip are from the original auditions. However, if you watch carefully you might see Liam (with shorter hair) and James nearer the end.
Hiya everyone, Sorry i know this isnt strictly billy related, but as many of you asked (and thanks for your support) this is a brief summery of what my musical is about (it may sound similar to billy but i promise ou its not): Ok, there is a kid called Joe, and he gets bullied as he is a member of a cheerleading club outside school. There is a girl member in the gang that bullies him, and they eventually fall in love, there is a homophobic teacher that also bullies him. The story evolves around the two different parties, and shows how the two different sides handle and cope with the situation. There are many other twists in it, but these are to remain secret for the mo. (And by the way simply musicals, the teacher is called Mr Rogers and this is not changing!)
btw- speaking of what James could do next, does he necessarily have to sing? he could dance... he could act.
