Could The Book of Mormon only be at 91.2% capacity during the busiest week of the year? That must be a typo.

and Annie played at 116% capacity at the Palace? What?
Always nice to see so many black numbers!

Holy Shiz Wicked. $3,201,333? That's gotta be some sort of record. Definitely the highest number Wicked's ever seen!

Book of Mormon's capacity was reported as 102.6% on another site. Could that be correct?

Possibly, especially with the different number noted above; if so, it'll probably be corrected right away. If not, another possible explanation could be that they overestimated how many premium seats they'd sell during the holiday period.

Book of Mormon sold the same number of seats as the previous week (8,752), so it's weird that the capacity went down. Unless they performed a 9th performance to a completely empty theatre.

EDIT: Nevermind. Looks like they fixed it.
Book of Mormon Grosses for 2013

Its a typo. Book of Mormon only played 8 performances last week while its capacity is accounting for 9 performances.
Great week all around for the most part. Shout out to Annie, which will likely be sold out again this week, and will be going out on top!
Also as well have all already commented Cinderella is definitely a tourist show, the issue is filling the seats in the slow months, which is likely why they are bringing in Ms Jepsen and Fran Drescher in hopes of being able to at least break even so that the their summer and holiday grosses go straight into the bank rather than being held to cover the costs of slow weeks.
Final shout out to Gentleman's Guide!!! I hope it is able to maintain its grosses from the past few weeks (obviously not this week's inflated christmas grosses) becuase at the current rate its going it looks like it will be able to stick around through the Tony's!
I love seeing numbers like these. NML/WFG may have to close early though with these numbers.
Oh and that is Wicked's highest gross ever in one week, and I believe it is the highest gross ever for any show in one week.
Wow, I have't seen so many $1 million plus shows in quite a while. Now, the struggling months of January and February await many shows.
Nice to see Big Fish went out strong.
Hopefully it will have a life after Broadway.
Wicked making 3million most certainly breaks the former record of 2.8 million....also by Wicked.
I cannot believe WICKED's numbers, Unbelievable! Guess I'll have work for the next 10-12 years
Sad that Anthony Warlow left Annie[for whatever reson]and miss this capacity finale.

NML/WFG in danger? With 98.8% capacity?
Wow, people really went to see Broadway shows this past week! That's exciting to see. Even more artistic enterprises like NO MAN'S LAND/WAITING FOR GODOT did great. Kudos to everyone, especially struggling shows that had run out of steam like CINDERELLA and ANNIE. Also, I can't believe KINKY BOOTS is making so much money, and whoa WICKED.
I can't believe that many people paid so much money for bad productions like ANNIE, WICKED, SPIDERMAN, etc.
Very depressing
Agree re Wicked - Disagree re Annie Mixed feelings on Spiderman. More positive than negative.
Yes, because God forbid anyone sees a show that they enjoy rather than what people on these boards approve.
I'm personally happy that A LOT of shows enjoyed superb grosses this week.
Agree
i am happy with shows like Pippin, Mamma mia, Matilda making a lot of money, but shows like Wicked, lion king, and Phantom don't deserve that much money
Those are some truly incredible numbers for WICKED. Wow.
Not depressing at all, but alright.

If people want to see it, then it "deserves" it.
Looking at those 'average' ticket prices is mind blowing, however. Wowza!
