Yikes, bad week. I doubt Something Rotten! will still be around by the end of next year. And Matilda's dragging a bit too.

I think Jersey Boys is officially (and sadly) entering its final chapter...
Looks like some shows could be closing soon for others that are currently waiting in the wings, such as...
Amelie
The Bandstand
Come From Away
Gotta Dance

Did something happen in New York last week that would slow Broadway attendance ? That's a bad week.

Sadly next week will be worse. February is death.
Wonder if SoR will make it past summer? They are getting kind of embarrassing with the "encouragement to come" posts and tweets.
School of Rock will definitely make it past the summer.

I don't like Finding Neverlands grosses being that low, it's very likely a net loss week.
^They only did 7 performances last week, so it's not as bad as it looks.

Neverland only had 7 shows last week...(Superbowl Sunday was cancelled) - there will be 9 this week.
Oops that's what I get for not reading all the posts before I respond.

It seems that Eddie George isn't bringing in the crowds as had been expected. I don't know how he's doing performance-wise, since I really haven't seen any video clips of him in Billy Flynn's tux. Surely there is someone out there who has seen him. How is he doing....really? I've always wanted to see Paige Davis or Charlotte D'Amboise as Roxie.

Numbers should be up a bunch this coming week due to Valentines and the holiday weekend.

American in Paris aint doing too hot either, wonder how long it'll stay around for, since it isn't really a family type show either

Ah, I didn't realize they had only done 7 shows, thanks for pointing that out.

And the Nederlander's probably want to start that renovation sooner rather than later since we might see another economic slump soon.

Yeah, it grossed 40.47% of its potential.
Not tremendously optimistic for American in Paris as the year unfolds. I hope they end up recouping.
Most shows do bad this time of year, especially something like Matilda, which is so family based.
