Bandstand is on the right track! Hoping those numbers will continue to grow.
Dolly continues to shatter records.
So word's gotten around about Amelie, I see.
Amelie will be the first casualty.

Groundhog Day has been steadily growing and I'm so glad! Hope the grosses continue to improve!
Will this be the third time Hello, Dolly breaks the Shubert theater record?
Groundhog Day attendance down by 3% but gross up by $100,000+. Amazing! I hope Bandstand is consistent, their numbers should do nothing but grow especially after Tony noms. It looks like Amelie is over considering it'll probably be snubbed tomorrow morning
A DOLL'S HOSUSE is actually getting better attendance, but with ticket prices so low it's still struggling a lot. INDECENT's attendance though, ouch.
Looking forward to seeing how KINKY BOOTS does once Brendon Urie joins the cast. Hope it gets a nice boost!
I'm also pleased to see Groundhog Day pick up a bit. If it gets a Best Musical nod we may keep seeing increases. Great Comet is dropping a bit, but hopefully it can continue good numbers even when Groban leaves.
Yowza that's a big boost for Charlie, especially since a lot of the other family-oriented musicals dropped a lot this week.
I think next week will really be telling for ADHP2. It'll be the first week after the raves and after Tony noms.

I wonder why there was a drop for other family musicals

Yes. It's also worth remembering that since last week was opening weekend, a lot of comps were circulating, and the reviews didn't come out till Friday. Next week should be the test.
I expect Doll's House to do very well tomorrow- nominations for play and the whole cast, as well as a likely nod for direction and costumes- so here's hoping they start to see better numbers.
If Amelie is basically shut out tomorrow, I can't see them lasting much longer.
That's a pretty steep drop for School of Rock, considering it was Alex Brightman's last week (of his return engagement.) I would've expected that to stay a little more consistent.
I saw Bandstand last Saturday night and really liked it. It looked like it was sold out or very close to it that night.
Keep it up, COME FROM AWAY!!!
I saw Amelie in Los Angeles, and I was never so disappointed in a show (well maybe Miss Saigon, but for different reasons). I don't understand the logic of taking a quirky movie (and mostly loved), and then removing everything that made it fun and enjoyable. It lost me from the first number, which tried to set up the plot, but was just confusing. It sure was a missed opportunity. I don't understand how you can place a show in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and then basically ignore everything from that city that is wonderful. The show is bland, bland, bland. I kept thinking why do I even care about this person and her "relationship", and, you know, ultimately I didn't. I was just glad it was over. It seemed like a loooooooooooooooooong 100 minutes to me.
I have been following the New York reaction to the show. While I would never wish a show to fail, it does seem that the creative team was not able to make the changes that needed to be done for a success.

I'm sooo happy for Groundhog Day!
Also, the numbers for Dolly are incredible.
Considering that Dolly only had 7 performances last week and many seats were comped for opening...Dolly could very well take Hamilton's top spot next week!
I wonder if Amelie would've benefited from waiting a season. Why did they rush it to Broadway?

I wonder if the producers thought they could capitalize on Philippa's buzz from Hamilton- that's all I can think of.

Probably so considering all of their marketing referred to her as "Hamilton's Phillippa Soo."

I doubt it. I said it back in December when I saw it in LA that in its current form, the show's Broadway run will be very short if no major changes were made. It wasn't only me but a chorus of negative comments echoed this. It's too bad the show's creative team did not listen.
