Woohoo Groundhog Day! Also Amelie climbing a little in its 2nd-to-last week. Last-chance ticket buyers, maybe?

The plays are really suffering this season. A shame.

A Doll's House, Part 2 had its best week yet. I've no clue if that puts it in the black (though it can't be an expensive play to run), but the Tony nods and reviews are clearly having a positive effect.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

It's really nice to see ADHP2 doing so much better. I have no idea if it's making its nut but the numbers for it were so dire, it didn't look like it was going to make it to opening.

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Super happy for Come From Away! Saw it on Saturday and was definitely my favourite new show that I saw this trip. Wishing it continued success :)

Still too early to tell on a lot of these. Wait and see what happens after the Tonys (for example GHD)

I'm guessing Hello Dolly had some unsold SRO spots? I see this week they sold 101.5% of tickets compared to 102.7% last week.

Yeah at this rate, they should be on TKTS any day now laugh

My guess would be that for a variety of reasons, they chose not to make them available as opposed to being unable to sell them.

If it is paying rent in a Broadway theater, if there is only a single chair onstage, it is an expensive show to run.

Oh god, PLEASE let SDOS stay open until I get to NYC! Isn't it doing worse numbers than Glass Menagerie? 60%? How is that sustainable?

I don't remember the last time that all the nominees for Best Musical were so good at the box office, there's a chance that ALL four will make 1M in a given week, that's impressive!

Well, we don't know who will die first after the Tonys, but maybe all four will have a big life on Broadway.

happy to see a positive trend for Sweat.. Hope that Indecent gets better, but I'm not sure. And wow, The Price posted a phenomenal closing week.

The "Millionaire's Club" doesn't mean what it use to. The big hits are all nearer to 2 Million with the rise of ticket costs. Look at the Big Numbers and a show like BANDSTAND is in trouble, it's all relevant.
