Hooray for Priscilla and it's nice, healthy gross.
Good week overall.

Posted: 5/16/11 at 3:48pmBut $950K is. Apparently the nut is about $600K, they are well above it. People really need stop expecting this show to be a juggernaut. Especially when it's competing against The Book of Mormon. It's the 3rd highest grossing new musical this week and 6th overall.

Posted: 5/16/11 at 3:58pmIts nut is estimated at 800K. Even if it was 600k it is still just doing ok. And people have the right to expect whatever the heck they want.

Posted: 5/16/11 at 4:38pmJackson Heights, I don't know where you are getting that number from, but it seems highly unlikely. The fact that the massive Spider-Man has a weekly nut of just over $1 million/week makes it seem unlikely that Priscilla costs a mere $200k less a week. The cast is neither big nor small, it's average. And the cost of operating the bus which just stays behind the half curtain for most of the show doesn't cost that much. Do you have a source for your info?

Posted: 5/16/11 at 4:44pmThank you for being a voice of reason, BJH. He'll probably call you stupid too for using Spider-Man as a reference point.

Posted: 5/16/11 at 4:46pmWell they pay Nick Adams in muscle milk and protein bars so his pay is relatively low.

Posted: 5/16/11 at 4:59pmNut very different from last week. Hopefully with summer around the corner it will only increase.

Posted: 5/16/11 at 5:14pmGood question. What's Aaron's nut like?
#16Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 5/15
Posted: 5/16/11 at 5:22pmGood enough to keep him in nothing but boxers for two shows in a row.

Posted: 5/16/11 at 5:24pmI think his nut is pretty big so people should watch out for that.
