Welcome back, locals and tristate folx! Nice to see you again for the end of the summer.

Happy trails to JOE TURNER’S COME AND GONE and Reeve Carney, Eva Noblezada, and Samantha Pauly over at THE GREAT GATSBY.

What’s with ROCKY HORROR’s drop? Did Luke miss any performances?

HADESTOWN is one to watch these next couple of weeks, with the big business its proshot is doing so far. (SIX likely won’t have as much of an effect, as its live capture releases just as schools come back.)

A very strong week, so great to see!

&Juliet with their best week in months, Schmigadoon, Cats, and The Lost Boys with their best week EVER just to name a few.

Well, everybody’s bumped up it seems - though it’s a shame that it took a closing announcement for CATS to really get swinging again. I expect increased numbers for the final two weeks, but that’s only because the producers have been steadily increasing the prices for the remaining seats, as well as selling the standing room.

I think Luke might have missed one or two last week for a brief Pines vacation, but also ROCKY HORROR switched to a regular production contract last week and their website is now independent of Roundabout. It’s entirely possible the drop is related to people not realizing the show extended beyond July 19th, despite the announcement quite some time ago

Great week across the board (except for Rocky Horror). Guess this is what can happen when there's no World Cup, heat wave, air quality alert, etc.

The return of Mark Ballas as Billy Flynn has proven beneficial for Chicago.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I know Paul was on for Luke due to a published absence on Sunday for sure. He may have been on earlier in the week too but not sure.

Hoping this was just a bad week and is just a small blip before the new cast comes in.

It is also worth noting that Paul Soileu (Christeene) will be the Sunday Frank for the remainder of Luke’s run and then from 8/25 to 9/10.

I anticipate many discounts during that time

I know this is an innocent typo but now I'm imagining Roundabout punishing Luke by making him sit out a show, like with sports.

Also worth noting, last weekend was when MOULIN ROUGE! was originally scheduled to close. Accordingly, they went up decently but the bigger bump will / should be when Tveit rejoins for the home stretch.

I can confirm Luke was out on Sunday but I did not know this until arriving at the theater. Luke’s u/s was fab. Guillen also was out but I do not care for this actor and was quite pleased not to see him.
