Yikes! Will "Wedding Singer" make it until the game show contestant arrives?

Usher's doing great things for CHICAGO's box office -- they're up almost $250K this week.

And HISTORY BOYS is at 100.9% -- can't remember the last time a nonmusical play hit a number like that.

WEDDING SINGER at 56.9% and $447K -- NOT good.

and still Wicked is at dead on 100%. That must be wrong. Every week, it's exactly 100%. Surely there's at least one seat in 14,000 that goes unsold each week!

The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Sales are going to go up as soon as AI star joins. TWS ain't going nowhere.

Tarzan took a big drop. About a hundred thousand in one week as the kids start getting ready to go back to school. A slight shudder in the Mouse.

Can Producers make its nut to continue at that gross?

Wedding Singer took what I'm sure to many on here is an unwelcome drop. Needs a polish and a big name fast, or something to pull it back up. Maybe a fall wedding theme.

Finally some good numbers for Sweeney!!! They should finish strong in this their final week.

And as far as Wicked goes, since their is no SRO, the cancellation line is always long and any seats that are currently not sold get sold that day/night. If Wicked had a SRO, they'd see over 100% almost every week.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

And let's not forget that Wedding Singer has only been open a few months. Numbers this low this soon are a bad sign. The Producers has 5 years under its belt, which is respectable, but it started out of the gate at 100%+ due to its star power. Wedding Singer never had that advantage and rarely does a show pick up enough from stunt casting to survive a rather tepid opening, zero Tonys, and poor reviews. Let's just hope it can do well in touring and regional productions. Should be a hit with high schools and community theatres.

Sad to see "Tarzan" drop this much...after seeing it, I just love the show and it's hard for me to understand why it's not doing as well as other Disney musicals. I hope it picks back up.

It'll be interesting to see how Constantine effects "Wedding Singer"'s percentage.

My friend, who is a concierge, said that Disney doesn't do Concierge nights until the show has been open for about 6 months to a year. he just got an invite to Tarzan.

I definitly see things picking up for The Wedding Singer when Constantine joins. What Wicked loving, 12 year old Long Island girl isn't going to drag her mother with her to see him? Heck, maybe some of those parents will be dragging their little girls. I hate to say it, but Constantine is a draw! He is one of the more well-known people to come off of "Idol." If he brings up sales, expect him to replace Saldivar when his contract ends.

Maybe he will draw flies? He looks like he needs a bath.
