Last year, I forget the name of the actress, but she won a Tony in 1947 and it was later stolen. Last year they handed her a replacement Tony before she presented an award.
Carol Channing's Tony Awards and Oscar was stolen from her storage unit a few years ago. Do you think the Wing will give Channing some replacement Tonys?

And you think of all of the things you've seen, and you wish that you could live in between ,and you're back again only different than before...

When I read the title, I was puzzled, thinking that Carol Channing replaced someone on Broadway and that she deserved to have a replacement category for the Tonys.

Yeah, I thought that Carol replaced someone on Broadway too because of the title of the thread. Hmmmm, maybe that's who my 'Lady of the Lady' was

spiritual bonding is one thing........for you to say that she's your sole reason for living, is clearly disturbing. You can't look to someone else for your own happiness.

Wait Carol Channing won a Golden Globe? For what? And I thought we established on the "Legally Blonde" Thread that Dog acts are ineligible for the Tony.
I don't care for Carol Channing. My cat hates her. I saw "Millie" as a child and cried out to my mother "Mommy, what's WRONG with that woman???"
I have a friend who, whenever they encounter a particularly deranged and befouled homeless person on the street, will say "Razzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzberries!" to her just to see if it's Carol.
And when did she eat corn, anyway?
