"keeping himself busy" is a charming way of saying "finding work wherever he can because of a Global pandemic wreaking havoc on his chosen industry."
As the theatres remain shut down for longer and longer, I think we're going to start seeing more and more reports like this of actors being forced to take other jobs.

The West End musical comedy star Anna Jane Casey is delivering for Amazon along with her husband who is also an actor singer.

He also did a series of master classes re-creating the choreography from his shows in the West End and Dolly on Broadway. I took the Mary Poppins one which I saw him in in London. The choreography was extremely difficult unless you’re trained dancer like he is and maybe two people in the class.
And he’s been working on his new house remodeling it.
