I LOVED his little blurb about Eva Longoria, mainly because I love Eva and I like him a lot. So cute.

Sad to hear about Cheyenne's pilot not getting picked up (though not really surprised), but I do hope that leaves the door open for bigger and better opportunities when his time as Sonny is over. He really is such a sweetheart.
"Hey little girls, look at all the men in shiny shirts and no wives!" - Jackie Hoffman, Xanadu, 19 Feb 2008
It's so great to know that he's such a nice person in addition to being talented, gorgeous, funny, and everything else. While sorry that they didn't pick up his tv pilot, am hoping that he continues to do Broadway and environs so that I have more chances to see him. He is a fabulous person.
I'm sorry that his pilot didn't get picked up, but honestly, Hollywood doesn't deserve such a generous, talented performer.
This man can SING like it's nobody's business, and we want him here on Broadway sharing his beauty LIVE on stage eight times a week.

I'm hoping Xanadu can hang on until Tony time. (Definitely, have my fingers crossed.) That's when I'm coming East and really want to see Cheyenne in it.
I'm hoping Cheyenne will be one of those lucky actors that bounce between movies, TV, and Broadway throughout his long and varied career. I'd hate for him to be pidgeon-holed in a role or typecast. It would be a shame if we didn't get to hear his wonderful singing voice because he was contracted to a long run on a TV show.
I'm for one hoping that he DOES land a great gig on a long-running TV program. He can earn for one episode (a week's work) what would take him 2 years of hard working on Broadway (and not even).
At least he can do a Broadway gig during his hiatus period.
The following aren't complaining about their current status on successful TV programs:
Audra McDonald Kristin Chenoweth T.R. Knight Sara Ramirez Chandra Wilson Michael C. Hall Mary Louise Parker
... and all the others I forgot to list.
As Harvey Fierstein has stated many times before -- "... working on Broadway 'sho ain't payin' the bills."
To be fair, from that list, Kristin Chenoweth, Mary-Louise Parker, and Audra McDonald are always looking to do some kind of theater whenever their TV gigs allow it. Other folks known to TV that always find a chance to go back to their theater roots include Jane Krakowski, Sarah Paulson, Harriet Harris, Victor Garber, and Alec Badlwin. Either way, I rather see Jackson attempting to make it in the film industry. It is a lot easier for Broadway actors to alternate between film and Broadway rather than TV and Broadway since TV schedules are so strenuous.
