Erich was just taking over while Drew was out for however many weeks it was. Last I heard, he was coming back. Don't know if that's changed.

No they did not. They announced their final SCHEDULED performances as Jenna for those dates. They will still be with the show as they are now... and will still be available to sub as Jenna or other parts until the show closes.
Erich was hired to do two weeks at Waitress when Drew was not available. He has done one so far. I don't remember which week is his next week.

Yes. In 2019, I can recall at least one performance where Jordin Sparks was Jenna, NaTasha Yvette Williams was Becky, and Jessie Hooker-Bailey was on as an understudy for Dawn.

Posted: 11/2/21 at 3:07pmI love this casting- I’m assuming we may see some name somewhere else in the cast to get it through it’s final weeks of the holiday season though. My guess is Pomatter or Joe will be someone of note as they’ve done in the past- I pray they re-cast Ogie before the end of the run, because I don’t think I can sit through him again- Jennifer is brilliant here though as is Erich and the new ladies as Dawn and Becky.

While it has been confirmed that Ciara will close the run, I do agree with you on this for other roles. Dawn and Becky are amazing!! I hope Dakin Matthews stays for the remainder of the run-wasn’t he in TKAM pre-COVID?

Eta: Calling Ciara the first BIPOC Elsa is not only lousy reporting, it’s highly inaccurate, and inconsiderate towards the current actress playing Dawn. You can simply change it by specifying principle Elsa."
Update! Joshua Henry WILL be Dr. Pomatter starting November 29th!
